Dark Valkyrie Diana updated.

While we still have no word on Diana's release date, her skin, Dark Valkyrie Diana, has been updated in the latest PBE build. It now has a much more vivid color palette, featuring green and purple instead of just dark purple, and a new splash art to match.
Here is a comparison between the old model and the updated model.


I can't say I'm surprised that Riot stuffed a bit more love into this skin. Given the recent quality of their release skins, specifically since they shifted from two release skins to only one, the original Dark Valkyrie Diana model definitely felt lacking.

Battlecast Cho'Gath also got a few updates, but nothing extensive. He was renamed to Battlecast Prime Cho'Gath and has had some slight particle / sound tweaks.

Just speculating, perhaps the name change is to differentiate this higher quality (and priced?) Battlecast skin with the Battlecast Urgot, Battlecast Xerath, and, possibly, the future Battlecast Skarner skin.

    They also renamed Battlecast Cho to Battlecast Prime Cho! Also they fixed his dance music and Joke! Now the soundwaves exit to the front instead of back...

    I dunno. There are definitely pros and cons about it.

    I liked the colors of the original but I think the new skin is a lot more vivid.

    During the update there was a file called Facebook being downloaded onto the PBE, look into that!

      well, they've wanted to do integration for a while now but, iirc, something on facebooks side got in the way. Maybe they've fixed that

    and in other news: riot made a good decisionn and changed back cait's artwork. Dont know if you guys noticed that.

      I wasn't even aware they changed it...I heard no community complaints about it. Did they change it to her chinese (before the change back) or was it a new updated one? I love Cait's chinese artwork. :P

    the name doesnt make the skin worth 1820, its the in game that matters... NEW LEBLANC SKIN PLEASE RIOT, "BRING LEBLANC BACK" her buff helped now release an unreal skin lol shes just a magician in every one.

      The name doesn't, no, but BCP Cho'Gath certainly has much more work put into it than a normal 975 skin.

      Well yes, but that's because they are improving the skins always, like when WW got his new skin it was above the normal 975 at the time.

      WW Hyena skin is an "Epic" skin, not legendary, but a really great normal skin. Pulsfire Ezeral was at first meant to be a Epic skin, before they removed it from the files and worked more on it. :)

    I am a little disappointed in the Dark Valkyrie splash. It just doesn't seem to pop out as well as her default.

    The newer textures on the skin are nice but a part of me misses the darker purple original.

    Facebook will be integrated into your friendlist. You can link your LoL account with your facebook account. I think there already were leaked pictures somewhere about this.
