Three new skins made their way onto the PBE this patch, Special Forces Gangplank, Oktoberfest Gragas, and Nemesis Jax. Special Forces Gangplank is purchasable & playable on the PBE, while Oktoberfest Gragas and Nemesis Jax are not ready just yet.

Minion's have been changed a bit. The old models were one big clump and it looks like the new ones have been split apart from their weapons.

| It's hard to find people who have played ranked on the PBE but I found a few and they only have a bronze medal with 1400 rating, which is concerning because a 1400 is silver rated on live servers. This is PROBABLY just be a weird PBE interaction/bug/whatever though. Icon is just a wee bit different from the other bronze icon as well. |

I think it's not about the amount of skins but the theme. Commando Jarvan, Garen, Lux, Xin and Galio are all Demacian. If Special Forces Skin is a themed skin the next should be the "bad guys" from Noxus, Katarina, Graves, Talon, etc.

I jumped the gun on the rest trying to cram it all in but the standard miniions got their models split. It seems they hold separate weapons instead of being one clump of model.

The one closer to him is MF (I don't get how the others are saying it's Kat when clearly the woman is holding a gun). As for the one on the far right, I'm going to assume that it is Caitlyn with her rifle judging by how long the weapon appears to be. The one on the right is Graves, no doubt. It appears that the Special Forces skins are for those with rifles/guns for weapons.

hell it is about time something "big" is happening. releasing two skins every 2 weeks and one champ every three or so is ... nice. but somehow since dominion nothing really exciting happens to this game.

the moba market is pretty slow in general. I mean the only recent things that have happened are lock pick and core pool (which i find useless)and as for dota- new draft picking screen and hero swap? Everyone's had tournaments, so no one is doing stuff. Well, rise of immortals is being remade and relaunched, but they are not that big of a game.
DeleteBTW, riot give us that replay mode already. Then you will be on equal standing with the rest of the genre. And even roi is getting a custom item list which you can make for specific chars, and a search engine in the item shop(like we have for champion select)
Just looked over the recent patch list for hon and dota 2. Its basically just skins and couriers there also.

ReplyDeleteabout trynd's sword / arm, imo its a bastard sword, can be held with 1 hand or two hands when needed (extra balance to block or spining to win) in the splash his left arm is alot bigger then his right arm (play trynd and type /joke)
