Now that North American season 2 regionals are over, we have already seen movement in the teams that didn't qualify for the world championships.

Keep reading for news about all these recent team disbands and player swapping, as well as details on the recent exclusivity rumor.

First, we've had a lot of movement in junglers. In the game of jungler juggling, we had LauteMortis leave Team Legion. He has decided to move on to greener pastures as the new jungler for Monomaniac Ferus according to this straight-to-the-point twitter post:
"I AM THE NEW JUNGLER FOR MME FERUS" -LauteMortis twitter
 This left Team Legion without a jungler, which of course we just can't have. Shortly after Legion decided that NintendudeX fit the bill perfectly! They announced this through twitter as well.
"With the departure of @Lautemortis the team has decided to pickup @NintendudeX as our new star jungler, we look forward to working with him." - LgNCappy on his twitter
BUT NOW Team Dynamic is left with no jungler. We can't have that so none other than Xmithie taking that place with pride.
"I would like to welcome @xmithie to team dynamic and would like to tell @nintendudex go in team lgn"  - HexoLoL on his twitter, this is TD's manager.
What a jungler shuffle!
TSM.Evo had some news this week.
Teams switching up their rosters isn't the only thing to happen since PAX Prime. We also received the sad news that Team SoloMid.Evo is disbanding after not qualifying for the World's at NA Regionals. WingsOfDeathX was the player who officially wrote up this blog entry to explain the reasoning behind the teams downfall. Here's a very short explanation of why the team eventually disbanded:
According to WingsOfDeathX, the team didn't have a legitimate shot-caller. This lead to the team not always being on the same page during games. He blames their loss at PAX on hard throws like bad engagements by the team as a whole, even though they were ahead in the early game. Before regionals had even began, the team had decided that if they do not perform well at PAX, they would disband and move on. I repeat, the decision was mutual.
Nhat also had a large decision to make about his pro career. As he relies solely on money he makes from streaming and tournaments for a living, it was necessary that they make it into Season 3 Championship Series. He couldn't continue to live completely off streaming and was unsure about his course after season 2. 
Salce, former AP mid from TSM.Evo
On the heels of TSM.Evo disbanding, I noticed Salce (former AP mid from Evo) streaming a mass amount of top lane champions. Well, it turns out that Salce is trying out for Curse Gaming! He has been duo queuing with Saintvicious a lot. Saintvicious stated this in an interview with Eclypsia::
"We are trying out Salce top for 2 weeks and seeing how it goes from there. Nothing is set in stone yet though. Westrice is practicing support atm."
Very fishy for the future of Elementz (support for Curse) if Westrice is practicing support, no? Well the interviewer asked about that as well. Saintvicious responded with this:
"I think Curse likes where elementz is. Elementz has improved a ton and I think is doing a great job."
It seems that if Salce makes the team someone needs to be moved around. I guess we'll have to wait another week or so and find out!

In other news, there has been a rumor floating around the internet lately about the newly formed Season 3 Championship Series. This rumor states that the teams that qualify for the Riot sponsored season 3 would not be allowed to play any other game competitively. This had caused outrage among the communities surrounding League of Legends and other competitive games. This rumor has been addressed by none other than RedBeard himself on the league of legends forums. He states:
"I probably shouldn't respond to your question on this thread and get off topic, but just to set the record straight, Riot WILL NOT be forcing teams (i.e. CLG, EG) to be exclusive to League of Legends.
I'm not sure where this rumor started, but that's exactly what it is, a rumor."
Furthermore, on today's episode of Live On Three, a podcast covering an entire slew of competitive video games, this rumor and RedBeard's forum post became quite the talking point. It's worth noting that SirScoots, the main person discussing the situation, is the manager of Evil Geniuses, a professional eSports team with teams in SCII and DotA2.

The discussion is now settling on something along the lines of "Yeah Riot was going to do it but many of the competitive teams responded very negatively to it and they changed their minds".  So hopefully we receive more information regarding this soon, because the entire moba community, not just the LoL community, is itching for more details about this.

    I don't see why teams would get angry. Riot has stated (or Morello at least, in a German magazine) that they plan to actually pay a salary to professional League players.

    At that point, they're paying them to play League, why don't they get the choice to make them exclusive or not?

      Not every single professional player is getting a salary, only those who come in high at the world championships I believe are the ones who will receive the player salaries. It actually might be the winners of season 3 are the only ones to get it.

      Top eight teams from each region ( i believe ) are getting salaries next season.

      I think what Riot meant was players who get the salaries should play LoL (on competitive level) exclusively.
      That seems fair to me. Otherwise you could get paid from Riot and fight for other games at the same time. (And players don't seem to do it anyway.)

      No it simply means that teams like curse for example would have to forfeit the money since curse not only represents league of legends "professionaly" but also many other eSports and the players that are part of Curse would have to either drop the money from Riot or their team and form something new which would a complete hassle. That's why the main reaction was from leaders of communities which have more then just league of legends as their focal point.

    Well, It was not a rumor, there were some teams that confirmed it but after seeing all the ruckus generated around it they backed up, so the image of LoL wouldn't get too affected.

    I think everything posted was actually very reasonable.
    But, think on this, what if you added a little information?
    I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added a post title to maybe grab folk's attention?

    I mean "This week in eSports" is a little vanilla. You should peek at Yahoo's front page and note how they create article headlines to get people to open the links. You might add a video or a related pic or two to get people excited about what you've got to say.
    In my opinion, it could bring your posts a little livelier.
