"Nidalee’s getting a Visual Upgrade this coming patch, so to accompany her new look, we’ve got a classic Champion Spotlight to give you a glimpse at her model, effects, and animations in action, along with some pro tips.
In this edition of the Champion Spotlight you’ll learn about successfully balancing Nidalee’s two forms, using Javelin Toss and Bushwhack to wear down enemies at a distance before closing in for the kill in cougar form. You’ll also see how Nidalee’s extreme mobility and potential for epic escapes can make her one of the best split push champions in League of Legends."

Here is Riot's preview if Nidalee's upcoming visual upgrade and an updated champion spotlight for anyone who wants to take her for a spin now that she has a new look.

ReplyDeleteThe old models had big feet anyways.... I hope Riot is working on more visual changes for the older champions
ReplyDeleteMfw when i've been pronouncing her name wrong all this time.
ReplyDeletepretty awesome!
ReplyDeleteFIRST :D
ReplyDeletefirst
ReplyDeleteWhere can i find the splash?
ReplyDeletePD:First
"The BEST-ial Huntress!"
ReplyDeletedafuq man
PRIMERO, sorry i had to do it
ReplyDeleteI'd Love to Take her "For a Spin"
ReplyDelete-Garen
No item builds? The hell is this, Phreak? You're not getting lazy on us, are you?
ReplyDeleteI'm not a Nidalee but she looks pretty darn awesome.
ReplyDeleteHalf of NA population call her Needalee and ALL non-NA server still pronounce her as Needalee.
ReplyDeletenah, it's like to-may-toe/to-mah-toe
ReplyDeletesome people say names like Veigar as Vee-Gur or Vy-Gar.
or Darius as Dare-E-es/Dar-E-us
All a matter of opinion in this case really.
Phreak says Nee-Duh-Lee, HotshotGG says Nih-Duh-Lee
Technically, it's correct. "Beast-ial", how most people say it, is also correct. Had to look that up after a spell in another game I play is called Bestial and people love to correct you if you say "Beast-ial" because there is no A.
ReplyDeleteThey are. They have a team specifically working on visual changes of old champions. If you go look at the champions. Any champion that has a black background and some sort of foggy color behind them. They will most likely be getting a visual upgrade. Those are all the really old champions.
ReplyDeleteWhat about the new splash art ? How comes we discover it on the spotlight ? What about the PBE ?? The skins ?! D:
ReplyDeleteAre they not going to do item builds anymore in spotlights? Nami's didn't have one either.
ReplyDeleteMoo do u think they are pushing her update earlier to put the Viktor fix together?
ReplyDeleteYo, Phreak said spamming pounce is a good way to fill up a Tear. Correct me if I'm wrong, but since pounce is free, doesnt it also not fill up a Tear now?
ReplyDeleteSo her /d got slightly changed and her W in cougar form doesn't slow anymore? I think Riot ruined her :)
ReplyDeleteit still fills with free spells, don't worry
ReplyDeleteOutrageous
ReplyDeletei don't think it ever slowed, to begin with.
ReplyDeleteYou can simply see it on the in-game shop now, for each situation ¬¬'
ReplyDeleteNo changes for her French Maid Splash??
ReplyDeleteThat piece of shit has nothing to do with her in-game now.
There will never be an update for that?
the dance was changed because it looked dumb with pharao and bewithing nida.
ReplyDeleteas if riot would care about viktor >.>
ReplyDelete"Phreak has slain Damiya"
ReplyDelete:(
Phreak isn't the best at pronouncing things. The way he pronounces items during game commentaries always leaves me cringing.
ReplyDelete"BEST-ial" is right; "beast-ial" is wrong.
ReplyDeleteThe tears says using skill or spending mana , using skill means any skill , using mana means skill like dmg per second (karth defile) fill the tear per cooldown.
ReplyDeleteNo new splash art for French Maid? :(
ReplyDeleteSo excited. Nid's one of my favorite champs and she looks great in all skins! Gonna get a the Leopard one in the January sale too.
ReplyDeleteI don't like how they nerfed her dance D:
ReplyDeleteEUW here, NID-a-lee is how I pronounce it.
ReplyDeleteNID-AH-LEEEEE.
ReplyDeleteGet it right Riot.
And on that day, sense was finally made from the shambles of society.
ReplyDeleteI think that was a limited skin, not a legacy. I hope I'm wrong, because I wanted to get it as well.
ReplyDeletei think there'll be new splash art for all her skins :P
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting patiently for my upcoming rework. Anyone else excited?
ReplyDeletety for my champion spotlight
ReplyDeleteYeah it's truem never did. I'm so used to the "slow effect" after AoE ability power abilities LOL... Sorry for that.
ReplyDeleteYeah I saw that but I still like the "first one" xd
ReplyDeleteEr, I'd rather not, seeing the runes they gave Nami!
ReplyDelete-From an avid Nami player, if you are wondering.
Love
