The early December patch is coming! NA Servers will go down at 2:00 AM PST in preparation for the update.
On Nami's availability, Morello says: "She will not be out tonight, but later this week."
My assumption is that this patch will contain Eternum Nocturne, Arclight Varus, all thoese fancy new splash arts, and will probably NOT contain the new Nidalee visual update. Stay tuned for patch notes and make sure to check out the preseason update mini site to peep all the item, jungle, mastery, and summoner spell changes coming in this patch.
EU soon hopefully and not soonTM
ReplyDeleteWow Already? that was fast..
ReplyDeleteGreat!
ReplyDeleteNice :D So ready for Nami to come out!
ReplyDeleteAwesome :)
ReplyDeleteIs the name remake coming this patch too?
ReplyDeleteMorello fails us again with delaying Nami
ReplyDeleteLol, morello must be so worried!! He must be sleepless XD

ReplyDeleteFIRST!
ReplyDeleteFirst.
ReplyDeletehue
ReplyDeleteNow that that's out of the way:
ReplyDeleteWasn't the Items patch supposed to be 1.73 whereas the Nami patch is 1.72? Anyone know why they switched it up?
when is this patch coming to EU West?
ReplyDeleteI have a sneaking suspicion that Riot's office is a little behind schedule in their workload. We've been sitting on Nami in the PBE for weeks now, with no lore or release skin (Koi) to examine/test in preparation for her release. The upper echelon reds haven't been posting with any frequency in the past week or so... IPL5 was fantastically entertaining and I'm very glad to see the preseason patch is coming now (finally), but at this rate I feel like the promise of "the final release of the year" champion that has been mentioned somewhat is going to be late to the party. Between Nami, the various reworks/relaunches in progress, IPL, and gearing up for Season 3... I hope their staff can catch a break soon.
ReplyDeleteNot Outrageous.
ReplyDeleteThis is why I hate not having internet at home, everyone's going to figure out how best to use all the new shiny items at 2 AM and I'm not gonna be able to get back on till like 9 tomorrow night and have no idea what I'm doing.
ReplyDeleteT.T
how about Nidalee
ReplyDeleteThis is how it's been for a while now It's not even a delay because they never gave Nami a specific release date. They never even said she would be out in the next patch (correct me if I'm wrong). For the past 3-4 champions its been the same deal, where they come out the same week the patch came out on.
ReplyDeleteIs the Nidalee visual update gonna be here? Or will we have to wait for that too?
ReplyDeleteis this the pre season patch? With all the Changes?
ReplyDeleteAnd Nami Skin? :I
ReplyDeleteSounds apocalyptic, I'm in.
ReplyDeleteYes, Joel is 100% correct. The last few champs its actually that very next day or even sometimes that same evening. She will prob be out on Wednesday, if I bet my money on it!
ReplyDeleteno word yet. Maybe they will sneak it in, finish it, and release with her but un sure.
ReplyDeleteItems patch has always been 1.72
ReplyDeletewait
ReplyDeleteWhat about Arclight Varus and Eternum Nocturne? Does anyone have information on those skins?
ReplyDeleteThat's so odd though. They haven't even released her skin splash art or anything.
ReplyDeletesorry my good sir but i think that wouldnt happend, miss nami didn´t got his release outfit in pbe yet
ReplyDeletethe only problem is that they say that "not released for further testing on the pbe" but in the end they never change anything, they only say that because they want people to believe they are working more on the champs and not the usuall 1 week 1 new champion like before, but its all lies and to make more sales
ReplyDeletedo not worry sir patchs lately had taken like 4-5 hours so noone will be fighting like gentlemans at that time of the evening
ReplyDeleteMOO!!! HOW DARE YOU TALK TO A "FIRSTER"!! I THOUGHT YOU WERE ABOVE THIS!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'll handle it!
ReplyDeleteDamn, moobeat rollin in the virtual currency.
ReplyDeleteDoubt it, they would let us test the skin a day or two before releasing her.
ReplyDeleteNooo my promote being removed :(
ReplyDeleteBusy is probably an understatement. This patch has massive changes that will sculpt the face of League of Legends from here on out. I assume they opted to take more time testing, polishing, and bug fixing over quickly pushing out such an important patch.
ReplyDeleteI do too but I'm optimistic. The safe bet is they polish and test it along side the return of the Nidalee visual update and release them together, before the next major patch.
ReplyDeletefigured i'd clear the air a bit. you werent the only one asking
ReplyDeleteedit: being able to edit rules
dolla dolla bills
ReplyDeleteFirsters are people too
ReplyDeleteOne of the german rioters, at dreamhack, mentioned the possibility of releasing her without a skin so they could take some extra time to make that skin even better.
ReplyDeleteSome people whined about her visual update on GD, so they reverted it on PBE, now its not even going to come out with new patch
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
ReplyDeleteWorking on a champ involves a lot more work than just changing numbers. You can completely change the way a champion behaves without actually doing much to them.
ReplyDeleteBesides, Testing is testing, It's there to make sure things ARE working properly, and to fix them if it isn't. If they don't change anything, that just means they did their job perfectly the other iterations. But that testing time will still be there regardless. Without it, it makes them look arrogant in their work, and then people throw tantrums over "shit champs" and "riot fails" blah blah.
I can tell you now that the LoL community will never be 100% happy, but with this new schedule a lot less complaining happens. And even then it's limited to children, and individuals who think buying RP makes their opinion matter more (which it doesn't).
"thoese" You couldn't decide between using "those" or "these", I'm guessing?
ReplyDeleteI saw nothing about the boots upgrades on that site... did I just miss it or did they scrap them?
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't that people whined... there was room for improvement and riot agreed on a few of the points that were brought up. They got the info they needed and put her back in the works. Hell, all of her skins weren't even readily available which means they were still having issues with the models. Also when you consider how she interacts with the terrain it is very possible that a new model could in some unexpected way cause issues there.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many things people don't take into account when it comes to this game... I'd rather Riot take a bit longer and make sure she is as good as she can be instead of release an update that causes all kinds of problems and unexpected errors.

ReplyDeleteHere is a preview of Koi Nami
I'm afraid, this is truly truly truly... Outrageous
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know this too. Always a bit painful to see US having fun with new things, while you don't even know when you'll have them too.
ReplyDeleteI would be fine if they did that
ReplyDeleteCan you make a Jayce New Skin please?:)
ReplyDeleteThis game won't work for me now it worked just fine before the patch but now the patch won't even finish it just tells me i have no memory left to install the update but i clearly have plenty
ReplyDeleteWhere is Karma's rework ????
ReplyDeleteDrugnut started this trend long ago and with some sort of timing: you belong in a museum.
ReplyDeleteYes.
