ARAM Queues: Good idea but takes time

While we haven't heard much from Riot on the subject lately (even though they DID add an ARAM forum a little while ago ), Saergi, one of the European Event Coordinators, responded to a thread pleading for the addition of matchmaking queue to our beloved ARAM / Proving Grounds mode. In her response a few months ago, she reminded players that such a feature is a complicated and takes time to get right.

Today, however, she responded with "Wir haben euch gehört" which translates to "We have heard you". Could this mean things have finally started to swing into motion?

For reference, here is a fan translation ( from German to English ) of  what he had to say in his original post back in September:
"Okay, I once again asked in the matter of ARAM being a normal mode. You are not
the only ones who love this mode, it's also extremely popular internally ;) Adding
this mode onto normal matchmaking sounds like a really cool idea and is already
being discussed by our developers. But: If you add a new mode, we'll have to
consider a lot of things beforehand and that can't be done that quickly.
There needs to be a proper matchmaking when it comes to random champions.
If this mode is going to be made, then only under the condition that we can
assure you a proper gaming experience, we don't want any half-finished things "
