3/30 PBE Update: New GPL Summoner Icons, Blitzcrank W change, and more tentative balance changes

The PBE has been updated! Our fifth update in the 5.7 PBE cycle includes a batch of GPL summoner icons, changes to Blitzcrank's W, and more of those wonderful tentative balance changes you all love.

New GPL Summoner Icons

A full set of Garena Premier League (GPL) team summoner icons have been added to the files. As with most icons that hit the PBE, no details yet on availability.

In order: Saigon Fantastic Five, Saigon Jokers, Mineski, Jakarta Juggernauts, Team Kthxbai, Kuala Lumpur Hunters, Full Louis, Team Infinite , Insidious Gaming Legends, Asus Fate, Diamond Team, Team Fat Rabbit, Ultimate, 269 Gaming, Wargods, Bangkok Titans.

Blackthorn Morgana Q VFX Tweak

Following the big batch of Morgana VFX update from the start of the cycle, Blackthorn Morgana's Q now has a "poof" of leaves when it hits.

Miscellaneous

  • This is very minor but the the new SR background has had the VS removed on just the image asset. When you load in, you'll still see the VS but it is on the frames asset instead. A few folks mentioning wanting the asset without the VS so here it is.

Balance Changes

* Remember *: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, and sometimes radical changes. The changes you see below may be lacking context or other accompanying changes that didn't make it in - don't freak out! These are not official notes.

Champions
Bard
  • Attack range reverted to 500 from 550.

Blitzcrank
  • Overdrive (W) has received several changes:
  • Duration reduced to 5 seconds from 8 seconds.
  • Movement Speed % increased to 70/75/80/85/90% from 16/20/24/28/32%.
  • Movement Speed bonus now decays over the duration of the buff.
  • New Effect: When Overdrive ends, Blitzcrank's movement speed is slowed by 30% for 1.5 seconds. 


Dr. Mundo
  • Sadism (R) cooldown reduced to 75/65/55 seconds from 75 seconds at all ranks.

Evelynn
  • Dark Frenzy (W) has a new new effect - spells hits on enemy champions now also grant Evelynn 4/8/12/16/20 Movement Speed for 3 Seconds (Movement Speed stacks up to 4 times).
Fizz
  • Urchin Strike (Q) AP ratio reverted to .3 from .5

Maokai
  • Sap Magic (Passive) heal reduced to [5% at level 1 // 6% at level 7 // 7% at level 13]  of maximum health from 7%.

Nidalee
  • Base HP reduced to 511 from 541
  • HP Growth reduced to 75 from 90
  • Primal Surge (Human E) cooldown increased to 16 seconds from 12 seconds.

Rek'Sai
  • Queen's Wrath (Unburrowed Q) bonus AD ratio reduced to .2 from .3
  • Tunnel (Burrowed E) individual tunnel cooldown lowered to 10/9/8/7/6 seconds from 10 seconds.
