5/29 PBE Update: Prehistoric Cho'Gath and Renekton Tweaks, Luden's Echo nerf, Porowl fixed, and more

A small update has been pushed to the PBE! Today's patch includes  tentative nerfs to Luden's Echo, tweaks to Prehistoric Cho'Gath & Prehistoric  Renekton, Meyea with a heads up on a back end rewrite of how skillshots workand more!

Skin Updates

Today's patch includes a few small tweaks for the upcoming Prehistoric Cho'Gath and Renekton skins.

Prehistoric Cho'Gath has received a few texture tweaks, notably to his back, armor and skin tone.

Prehistoric Renekton also received minor tweaks, notably the brighter color on his teeth and white scales.

[PBE Feedback] "New Missile System" - Rewriting Skillshots

Here's Riot Meyea with info on a few changes to skillshots testing on the PBE:
"Hello Summoners! 
We've re-written how skillshots work. 
My team at Riot is called CUTS. We Clean Up The Stuff (There's a synonym for "poop" in the real name). The "stuff" my team is cleaning up are skillshots. Like, all of them.
This video(Thanks for the shout out Gosu) is an example of a bug that actually exists on live right now. And frankly... fixing bugs like this involves a lot of change. If you fix some bugs, other bugs come up. Even worse bugs. Unless we re-write it. Which we've done. Huzzah! 
Re-writing how skillshots work is a huge change and the last time we put our changes on the PBE you guys were quick to find gameplay-impacting bugs.

Miscellaneous 

  • The animations for Porowl, the newest critter on Summoner's Rift, have been fixed! Here's an updated video of the little guy looking around and staring into the depths of your soul.

Luden's Echo (Summoner's Rift Version)
  • AP ratio on unique passive reduced to 10 % from 15%
  • Charges gained from casting a spell reduced to 10 from 20.
Luden's Echo (TT & Howling Abyss Version)
  • AP ratio on unique passive reduced to 10 % from 15%
  • Charges gained from casting a spell reduced to 10 from 20.


Twisted Treeline
[Reminder: There is currently a HUGE set of Twisted Treeline changes testing on the PBE, from jungle and Vilemaw changes to turrets and visuals. If you missed it, catch up here.]

Altars
  • Two altar bonus reduced to restoring 1% of maximum health on minion and monster kill from 3%
Vilemaw
  • Respawn time increased to 6 minutes from 5 minutes
