After five days of groupstages and two teams eliminated, we're back with the 2016 Mid-Season Invitational! knockout stage - Semifinals on May 13th and 14th with Finals on the 15th!

2016 Mid-Season Invitational

The 2016 Mid-Season Invitational  is underway and pits the top teams from across the globe against each other for cash prizes and a chance at a top four seed for their region at Worlds 2016. MSI takes place over two weeks - five days of the round-robin Group stage (May 4th-8th) followed by the top four teams moving on to a Best of Five knockout stage - Semifinals (May 13th-14th) and the final two against each other in the Finals (May 15th).

Teams will be competing for the $450,000 prize pool, with $250,000 going to first place, $100,000 to second place, and $50,000 going to third and fourth place. The official ruleset can be found here.

2016 Mid-Season Invitational will be played on patch 6.8 with Aurelion Sol enabled.
