11/29 PBE Update: New Summoner Icons, Winter SR Loading Screen, Camille CS Quote, and more!

The PBE has been updated! As the festive winds of 6.24 continue, tonight's update includes new Star Guardian Poro and Dark Star poro summoner icons, Camille's Champion select quote, previews of Snowdown emotes and the 2016 All-Star ward, a new loading screen for Winter Summoner's Rift, and more!

New Summoner Icons

New Star Guardian and Dark Star Poro summoner icons.

These two icons will change your poro appearance in Legend of the Poro King.  - SG / Dark Star.

2016 All-Star Ward Preview

Here's a video preview of the upcoming 2016 All-Star  Ward now that sound effects have been added in today's update:

The 2016 All-Star event starts on Thursday, December 8th! Look for more information soon.

Snowdown Emotes preview

Here's a short preview of the three new SNOWDOWN EMOTES added earlier in the PBE cycle - today's patch included  unique SFX for each. These are tied to the corresponding Snowdown summoner icons.  No details yet on availability yet. 

Camille Champion Select Quote & Non-English VO

Camille's English champion select quote was added in today's update:

"Precision is the difference between a butcher and a surgeon."

Winter Summoner's Rift Loading Screen

A festive version of the Summoner's Rift loading screen has been added to go with the Winter SR!

Winter Summoner's Rift remains on the PBE for testing this cycle in Normal Draft, Normal Blind, and One for All match made games. Look for it to release in 6.24!

Balance Changes

Champions
Akali
  • Twin Disciplines (Passive) now works on structures.*

 Kalista
[CONTEXT]
  • Rend (E) [previous changes to lower minimum minons kill for mana return and keep E's passive enabled while active is on CD have been reverted. They will likely return in 7.1]

Kog'Maw
[REMINDER: Kog'Maw currently has W buffs and E AP ratio nerfs on PBE]
  • Void Ooze (E) damage lowered to 60/105/150/195/240 from 60/110/160/210/260

Rengar
[REMINDER: Rengar currently also has BTN changes on PBE]
  • Attack growth increased to 1.5 from 1 

Syndra
[CONTEXT] 
  • Unleashed Power (R) damage per orb reverted to 90/135/180 from 70/115/160

Varus
[REMINDER: Varus has  has significant passive changes on PBE]
  • Living Vengeance (Passive) [ new passive's tooltip changed to say "non-champion kill" instead of "minion kill" - old passive also worked on monsters so should just a be a tooltip change]

NOTES



  • Meddler with context on Syndra R damage nerf revert:
"We've been seeing Syndra's performance, ban rate and play rate all dropping more than expected in 6.23. The team concluded it was better to hold the Syndra changes a patch and consider whether they were still appropriate for 7.1 as a result."

  • SmashGizmo with context on the Kalista reverts in today's update:
"Just to give everyone a heads up, pulled the Kalista changes for 6.24, will most likely bring them back in 7.1 after we see what Fervor does"
