6/28 PBE Update: Balance changes, Chroma testing, & more.

The PBE has been updated! As we continue the 7.14 PBE cycle, today's update includes tentative balance changes and more. Our new champion Kayn also remains up for PBE testing.

Kayn PBE Testing

Our upcoming champion KAYN remains on the PBE for testing throughout the 7.14 PBE cycle. Additional information available in his champion reveal and PBE boards bug report thread.

Miscellaneous 

  • The Dark Star: Singularity game mode is back on the PBE for RGMQ testing.
  • Now that they are enabled for PBE testing, here's video for  Pool Party Fiora & Pool Party Graves chroma. A PBE feedback thread for the new Pool Party Chroma sets is also now up!  A video for Pool Party Lulu will be uploaded once PIX is fixed up in a future update.


Balance Changes

* NOTE*: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, & experimental changes. Be aware that what you see below may be relative to other changes earlier this cycle! These are not official notes.

*IMPORTANT FOR 6/28 BALANCE CHANGES: Today's PBE patch has had some issues with mismatching data. The initial deploy only included an LCU patch and not a GAME CLIENT patch. As both of these clients house data on champions and such, they are helpful to have together to cross reference. While a game patch did eventually go out, unfortunately the LCU and GAME remain mismatched and do not include all of the same data. Some changes seen on the LCU are not yet present in-game (or may never be). Look for this to be corrected in a future deploy.

Champions

Fiora (LCU only atm - consider tentative)*
  • Grand Challenge (R) - [no longer gain's duelist's dance movement speed bonus - will need to confirm after a redeploy.]
Zilean
  • Time Warp (E) cast range indicator adjusted to better match the actual range of spell - source.

Items
    [NEW] Bramble Vest (LCU only atm)*
    • Builds into Thornmail.
    • Total Cost: 900g.
    • Recipe: [Cloth Armor + Cloth Armor + G]
    • Stats & Effects:
      • +35 Armor.
      • Unique Passive - Thorns: Upon being hit by a basic attack, reflects 25 magic damage, inflicting Grievous Wounds on the attacker for 1 second.

    [Reworked] Thornmail (LCU only atm)*
    • Thornmail has been reworked, including new build, stats & costs, component item, and passives.
    • Total cost  2900g 
    • Builds out of [Bramble Vest + Ruby Crystal + Warden's Mail + G]
    • Stats & Effects:
      • +250 Health
      • +75 Armor
      • Unique Passive - Thorns: Upon being hit by a basic attack, reflects magic damage equal to 10% of your bonus armor plus 25, inflicting Grievous Wounds on the attacker for 1 second. 
      • Unique Passive - Cold Steel: When hit by basic attacks, reduce attacker's attack speed by 15% for 1 second.

    1) Following their debut in the 6/27 update, KateyKhaos tweeted the Pool Party Chromas for Fiora, Graves, and Lulu are now available for PBE testing.
