With Worlds 2017 right around the corner, Summoner's Rift is starting the celebration early with new emotes, map accents, and much more as Worlds hits the Rift! Championship Ashe and her Golden Championship chroma, ward, and much more are now available!

"Worlds Hits the Rift 
For those who compete on the World Championship Stage, the pursuit of mastery begins with four pillars.

Complete Weekly Missions 
In-game missions based on these four pillars will be available for the duration of the tournament. Complete them to earn Worlds Tokens and unlock exclusive in-game rewards! Since the World Championship is all about crowning the best team in the world, take inspiration from pro players’ competitive spirit and tackle more challenging missions than you’ve ever seen before.
2017 
CRAFT WORLDS LOOT 
Tokens can be used to forge event icons, a limited edition Championship Ashe loading screen border/chroma, and more. You can earn tokens from September 21 until the day after Finals - they will expire on December 4.
UP THE ANTE 
Purchase a Worlds Master Pass for 1,300 RP to unlock the 2017 Worlds Master Icon, a rare gemstone, and 2 extra missions per week (a total of 12 extra missions). The price will scale down to 1,000 RP over the course of the tournament to compensate for missions that expire.
CHAMPIONSHIP ASHE 
Ashe is among the select few champions who are as iconic in esports as they are in solo queue. This year, she’ll be donning the Championship armor for Worlds. 
As in the past, 25% of all Championship Ashe revenue goes straight to the Worlds prize pool. What's new is Riot matching that 25% and sending it straight to three amazing charities. Learn more about our Worlds charities here. 
This skin will return to the store every year during Worlds, but the icon and loading screen border will only be available this year. 2017 is also your best chance to unlock her Golden Chroma and Ward, which will become legacy content following the tournament; note that you’ll need to either complete Worlds Master Pass missions or pick up extra tokens from Hextech Chests to hit 320 Worlds Tokens. 
Championship Ashe will be available in the store for 1,350 RP from September 18 until the day after Finals.

ICONS AND EMOTES 
There’s no better way to show your team colors than flashing their logo over fallen enemies. Team icons and emotes will return to the store for 2017, and this time, emotes will be permanent! From the start of the tournament until October 8, you’ll be able to pick up your favorite team’s icon and emote in a bundle for 450 RP. After that, you can grab icons for 250 RP each (50% shared with the teams they represent) and emotes for 450 RP (30% shared with the teams they represent). As an added bonus, when you equip a team icon during Worlds, their tag will be added to your summoner name in-game.
The Worlds 2017 Legend Emote and Icon will also be available in the store. They’ll have the same bundle/individual pricing, and will never return, so don’t miss out!

Mystery Items will be purchasable from October 4 - October 23 at 23:59 PT. They include:

PENTAKILL AND BARON STEAL PROMOTIONS 
Pentakill and Baron steal promotions are back for Worlds 2017. If a player secures a Pentakill or steals Baron, you’ll get double the chance of Legendaries and Esports skins in Mystery Items through the end of that stage. This bonus stacks with each trigger, up to 4x per stage!

Buy Championship Ashe and raise money for charity


As announced on the Worlds Hits the Rift 2017 page, Riot will be donating 25% of the Championship Ashe skin sales to charity! Check out this article for more:
"Last year everyone who purchased a Championship skin contributed to the Worlds prize pool. This year we’re taking it one step further. A cut of the proceeds from Championship Ashe sales add to the 2017 Worlds prize pool—and determine how much we donate to three global charities. Each one supports causes that players we asked care about: mental health care, access to education, and access to technology. We also partnered up with these charities to develop specific projects and goals we can fund, track, and achieve together.

The Charities 
BasicNeeds builds sustainable programs that support people with mental illness and epilepsy in low- and middle-income countries. BasicNeeds trains and engages local governments and nonprofits to build working models of prolonged mental health advocacy and support. They aim to expand programs into three additional countries with the goal of aiding 250,000 more people over three years. 
Learning Equality enables access to high-quality education in communities without Internet access, breaking the cycle of poverty around the world. They’ll further develop and launch their offline learning platform Kolibri to provide rich digital experiences for underserved students in over 175 countries. 
The Raspberry Pi Foundation crafts low-cost computers for people all around the world use to learn and have fun with computing. All sales fund their technology education programs like CoderDojo. They plan to host 5,000 more coding dojos in communities across South America, India, China, and East Africa. 
How Your Contribution Works 
25% of Championship Ashe sales go to the 2017 Worlds prize pool, just like last year. 
Additionally, Riot will match 25% of all Championship Ashe sales during Worlds 2017 to form a charity fund. Later on, you can vote on which cause you support the most—the higher your Honor level, the more weight your vote carries. The highest-voted charity will get 50% of the total pool, and the remaining amount will be split equally between the other two. 
We’ll let you know when voting begins and how to lock in a vote for your favorite charity."

New Skin - Championship Ashe

The newest skin in the championship line, Championship Ashe, is now available! As in years before, 25% of the revenue from sales of this skin will go toward the Worlds prize pool. New this year though, Riot will be matching that 25% revenue and will be donating it to three charities!
