Welcome aboard. 

Release
Odyssey blasted right by PBE and will crash land directly into patch 8.18. The global release schedule is as follows, across September 11 (Tuesday) and September 12 (Wednesday):

Oceania: Tuesday between 2 and 3 PM PT

Japan: Tuesday between 3 and 4 PM PT

Korea: Tuesday between 4 and 5 PM PT

Russia: Tuesday between 6 and 7 PM PT

EU Nordic & East: Tuesday between 8 and 9 PM PT

Turkey: Tuesday between 9 and 10 PM PT

EU West: Tuesday between 11 and 12 PM PT

Latin America South: Wednesday between 2 and 3 AM PT

Brazil: Wednesday between 3 and 4 AM PT

Latin America North: Wednesday between 4 and 5 AM PT

North America: Wednesday between 5 and 6 AM PT

Odyssey: Extraction

Remote alien worlds can be difficult to navigate. Use this friendly guide to get all the details on Odyssey: Extraction before you go in.

Characters 

Pick from Yasuo, Jinx, Sona, Malphite, and Ziggs. Each has different augment paths and strengthened passive abilities. 

Augments
This is the best part. 

Each time you play the mode, you can earn augments for the characters. You keep these for the duration of the event and equip them between games. They’re super powerful and let you do crazy stuff.

You unlock extra augment slots as you complete missions over time. You can get up to 5 slots and 15 augments per character. There are some crazy builds, so experiment with the augments you find. 

*There will be a “catch-up” augment bundle available from September 17 – October 8. The bundle will include ALL augments for either 600 RP or 10,000 BE, but each augment owned will reduce the RP price by 8, down to a minimum price of 215 RP. 

Summoner Spells 

Only choice here is which key you’re putting them on. Here’s what you get to work with: 

Keep your arms and legs inside the wormhole.

Friendlies

Odyssey Kayn Short Story - The Lure

A new short story set in the Odyssey universe is also featured on the Odyssey hub - The Lure:

Keelo always cried “Surprise!” when he attacked. 

Kayn supposed it was the equivalent of Keelo pulling his punches out of respect, or perhaps some artifact of his ancient, preset protocols. 

The warning cry was never necessary, nor was it especially amusing after all this time.
