Viktor Gameplay Update
After spending yesterday disabled due to evolution hating bugs, the Viktor gameplay update is up and ready for PBE testing!
Let's take a look at his updated kit:
(Passive) Glorious Evolution
Viktor stars with the Prototype Hex Core that can be upgraded three times in the store to augment his abilities.
[ AP varies based on level. gives + 3 AP per level at first tier ]
[ The Perfect core grants +75 base AP and +6 AP per level as well as +500 Mana ]
Hex Core icons
After each upgrade you are prompted with a Kha'Zix style Augment point which you can use to upgrade whichever ability you prefer.
Additional notes on PASSIVE from Solcrushed's thread:
- Viktor starts with a Prototype Hex Core that he can upgrade 3 times for 1000 gold each. Each upgrade grants +25 AP, +150 Mana and +1 AP per level, cumulating in +75AP, +6 AP per level, +500 Mana for the Perfect Hex Core.
- Each upgrade will allow Viktor to augment one of his basic abilities and when Viktor has upgraded all 3, the Chaos Storm will be augmented also.
(Q) Siphon Power
Mana Cost: 45/50/55/60/65
Cooldown: 10/8.5/7/5.5/4
Viktor blasts an enemy unit for 40/60/80/100/120 (+.2 AP) magic damage, granting him a 30/50/70/90/110 (+.2 AP) damage shield for 2.5 seconds. Viktor's next basic attack deals 15~250 + (+ .5 AP) bonus magic damage (The bonus damage scales with Viktor's level).
Augment - Turbochage: Viktor gains 30% Movement Speed for 2.5 seconds
Additional notes on Q from Solcrushed's thread:
- Range changed to use bounding boxes (Effectively 100 range increase)
- Cooldown changed to 10/8.5/7/5.5/4
- Damage reduced to 40/60/80/100/120 (+0.2AP)
- Empowered autoattack that deals 15~250 (depending on Viktor's level) (+0.5AP) bonus magic damage on next basic attack.
- NOTE: The entirety of the damage of the next basic attack is converted to magic (ex: Poppy Q)
- Shield amount changed to 30/50/70/90/110 (+0.2AP)
- Shield and speed boost (Augment) duration reduced to 2.5
- Shield, speed boost and empower all granted immediately upon cast
(W) Gravity Field
Mana Cost: 65 Mana
Cooldown: 17/16/15/14/13
Viktor deploys a gravitational imprisonment device for 4 seconds, slowing enemy units by 28/32/36/40/44% and adding a stack every .5 seconds. At 3 stacks the target is stunned for 1.5 seconds.
Augment - Implosion: Enemies stunned by Gravity Field are dragged to the center.

- Range increased to 700
- Particle starts playing as soon as Viktor starts cast, time between start of cast and enemy being slowed is unchanged

Mana Cost: 70/80/90/100/110
Cooldown: 13/12/11/10/9
Viktor uses his robotic arm to fire a chaos beam that cuts across the field in a line, dealing 70/115/160/205/250 (+ .7 AP) magic damage to every enemy in its path.
Augment - Aftershock: An explosion follows the Death Ray's wake, dealing 70/115/160/205/250(+ .7 AP) magic damage. Enemies already hit by Death Ray will take 40% damage

- Augment Explosion missile speed significantly faster than the original laser
(R) Chaos Storm
Mana Cost: 100
Cooldown: 120/110/100
Viktor conjures a singularity at the target location, dealing 150/250/350 (+ .55 AP ) magic damage and interrupting enemy channels.
Viktor can redirect the singularity for 7 seconds, causting 30/60/90 (+ .2 AP ) magic damage every second to nearby enemies. The singularity will move slower as it attempts to move farther away from Viktor.
Augment - Velocity: Chaos Storm Moves 20% faster.
Additional notes on R from Solcrushed's thread:
- Cast time reduced to 0.25 (from 0.33)
- Cooldown reduced to 120/110/100
- Radius of initial impact increased to 325 (from 250)
- Radius of DOT zone reduced to 325 (from 350)
- Storm always moves at maximum speed when moving towards Viktor
- DOT damage changed to 30/60/90 (+0.2AP)
- DOT damage interval now 0.5 seconds (from 0.25)
- No longer silences on impact, interrupts channels instead

"By the power of the stars." - Soraka's gameplay update is here and up for testing on the PBE! Her reworked kit features totally a totally new Passive, Q, and E, as well as significant changes for her W and her R is pretty much the same!

When the zone disappears, all enemy champions still standing in the zone are rooted for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 second(s) and are dealt 70/110/150/190/230 (+.4 AP) magic damage.
(R) Wish
Mana Cost: 100
Cooldown: 160/145/130 seconds
Calls upon Divine powers to restore 150/250/350 ( + .55 AP ) Health to all allied champions, removing all instances of Grievous Wounds beforehand. Wish's power is increased by 50% on each champion below 40% health.

Context on Nidalee Changes
Here's Riot Repertoir with context on the Nidalee changes in today's update!
"Hey all,
Now that Nidalee has been out and about on the Live environment for awhile, we wanted to make some changes to her to address a few issues. There are all sorts of ideas floating around out there as to what to do about her, ranging from 'leave her alone' to 'please just delete her.' Not too surprisingly, I'm sure, we haven't opted for either of those, but here's what we have decided to do.
One of the paramount problems with Nidalee in from a playing against perspective is that she doesn't offer opponents meaningful windows during which they can put their guard down or feel like they have the upper hand, especially during the laning phase. Nidalee is intended to have short periods of time between Javelin Toss cooldowns where she is somewhat less dangerous, but when she builds primarily AD duelist items, that weakness seems like it's hardly there anymore. To that end, the approach we are taking is one that will hopefully help to emphasize her windows of strength and weakness, and we feel that moving her more toward the direction of AP or AP bruiser will help with that. AP builds almost always have lower power from basic attacks, so we think that if she can move a bit in that direction, she won't pose a such a high constant level of threat to opponents, particularly in the lane phase.
One final thing to note is that Nidalee is not exactly known for her incredible teamfighting capabilities, and a large contributor to that is that she actually offers opponents so many ways to play against her in a teamfight environment. As such, we've made a small change to the way the Pounce reset on Hunt works to give Nidalee players more consistent results on the mobility end when Hunting.

Summoner's Rift Update is back
The Summoner's Rift update is back up and ready for more testing!
Texture Rebalancing
The mass texture rebalancing has begun! While full details can be found in [[THIS THREAD]], Riot is aiming to tweak and improve the textures and nearly every champion and skin released before 2013 so that they better fit in with the current art style of the game and the upcoming Summoner's Rift update! Please note that while these will be upgrades to current textures, these Texutre rebalances will not all be as extravagant as what we normally refer to as TUs / Texture Updates.
The first batch is in today's update and includes TWELVE champions and most of their respective skins. Keep in mind that some will be more significant than others! The OLD PICTURES ON LEFT and the NEW TEXTURE REBALANCED ARE ON RIGHT.

The environmental sound effects for the Summoner's Rift update have been updated. Here's a rather lengthy video of them. Rain and storms at ~4:00-8:00, Wind at ~8:00, Birds at ~9:00, Waterfalls near the end.
There are also a few scattered files referencing "KINPORO_Porofollower", "Poro_Lane", and "Poroking". Nothing extremely telling or tangible to show but they for Map12 which is the Howling Abyss. Get tospecu porolating.

With the 2014 World Championship starting soon, we have a new login screen on the PBE! The new World Finals screen features the song "Warriors", a creative collaboration by Imagine Dragons and Riot Games, rather than traditional login music.

- Noxious Blast (Q) AP ratio increased to .45 from .35

- Perseverance (Passive) now also includes
- "At level 11 damage from non-epic monsters will no longer stop Perseverance."
- At level 16 the power of Perseverance is increased".
- Perseverance (Passive) now scales up at level 11 and 16!
- At 11, cooldown decreased to 6 seconds and health per second increased to .8%
- At 16, cooldown decreases to 4 seconds and health per second increases to 2%

- Mirror Image (Passive) tooltip now reads she becomes invisible for 1 second instead of .5 seconds.

- Hymn of Valor (Q) cast range increased to 850 from 700
- [Context: Her Q is currently bugged on live as her rework shipped with a lower range than intended. This change today likely just a bug fix to return it to the ORIGINAL range before the rework. While the values here say '850' from '700', I imagine this is just aimed at fixing that bug. It's... complicated. I'll see if I can wrangle up an official response.]
