We have some exciting things in store for you in the coming patch, so to ensure that we devote the time necessary to upholding the highest standards of quality we’re releasing our upcoming champion in a week, pending some additional polish work. During this time we’ll be gathering additional feedback, and iterating rapidly on all aspects of the champion. We apologize for the interruption to your regular gameplay schedule, but we think that once you get your hands on this community-desired champion, you’ll agree that it was ”worth it.”
The next champion too, will require more time for development, testing and iteration; so the target release date for the next champion will be following the same three week time frame to ensure quality.

Holding off on new champions for better patches is a step in the right direction. We dont need new champions all the time (in fact, its getting annoying because they are all 6300 tanky dps) but we do need strong champions nerfed and the UP ones buffed.

ReplyDeleteI love what riot does no matter even if I dissagree with some changes ill always love the game itself and I can definately wait for a actually unique champ that they listened to us for inapiration, riot is doing a good thing here and makes me excited to see the next patch. I wonder when the champ info will be released

ReplyDeleteI agree, I agree, I agree! I hate when people QQ about patch notes. Riot spends 2 weeks consulting a crack team of game balance experts, and I will accept their dicisions for buffs/nerfs any day. If they discovered a way for Eve to be OP, then Eve is OP and I will no longer bother then about an eve rework.
DeleteVery rarely has a champion "excited" me since I started playing. Hopefully with this new update schedule we can get some cool champions!
