J.S Gilbert, the voice actor responsible for the voicing such champions as Sion, Skarner, Gragas, and many others has made a little something to give back to the League of Legends community. Over on his website ( which at the time of posting is exploding because of all the traffic ), he put up a fancy ringtone featuring everyone's favorite Madman of Zaun, Dr. Mundo!
That is all swell and dandy, but I'd like to direct your attention to a certain section text, near the middle of the page:
"I have done, but I recently recorded Battleskin Cho G’ath, something cool for Dr. Mundo and new stuff for Udyr."
Something cool for Dr.Mundo and new stuff for Udyr... now they've got me interested!

Typically new voice over lines are reserved for legendary skins or champion remakes / relaunches ( a term coined with the recent Katarina rework ), Could this be the first hints towards something new for the Animal Spirit? Nothing definitive for sure, but just something to think about. It could just be something small. If Diana and Leona got character specific dialogue when they interacted ( such as Graves does when Nocturne is present ), I would suggest that maybe that's what these are. Alas, Riot either missed a big opportunity there or has moved on from that idea.

ReplyDeleteI really do wish they did those Voice interactions... It seems with all the champions with hidden passive towards other champions, only the newest one has the special voices, and they never add new ones to old champions.
