How does she look creepy? I like how all the new skin splash arts are getting sharp details. The old jagged lined art was beginning to remind me of a cheap MOBA I used to play.

DeleteI think the biggest problem with the Lux art (and the new morg and mf art) is lack of anatomy... seriously, look at her waist. Look at her neck. No woman could ever make that pose... that looks painful.

DeleteI'm definitely in love with the new Lux splash, but I agree the proportions of the lower abdomen need to be reworked a bit.
DeleteI don't think the pose is bad, it kinda looks like she's running or hovering, it just looks weird because of her waist. If her lower back was thickened, I think it would look better.
I think that ecstatic, borderline maniacal look on her face really suites her though.

ReplyDeleteI also love the Gragas splash for so many reasons, the most amusing of which is that Ashe is holding TWO beers... thought that might be for a hidden Trynd and whatnot.
At least her eyes aren't too close together like her old one and the Chinese one. I guess Lux is never meant to look normal.

ReplyDeleteThat's Lux's lucent singularity behind her, not her final spark. UNLESS, its an enemy lux final spark and she missed. Hence this Lux is smiling and what not.
ReplyDeleteThat Justicar splash looks waay better than classic one. I love her headdress/mask, i love her feathers. And her nails. And i love that she is not like boobs+rest of the body. I mean, look at classic art, her breasts are bigger than her head, and it looks really weird, like she had a surgery that was not entirely succesful. I also hope they change Justicar's model to fit that splash. And that they will fill her balls with something so that they are no longer invisible ;d.

Well, i examined the Lux's splash ( i am a Lux player) and she doesn't look maniac. From a far just a little bit, but if you zoomed his.face, the maniac disappear, and a explosion of happiness emerge from that face.
