Polish Players on EUW urged to transfer EUNE after PLN payment option removed

Riot is urging Polish players on EUW to transfer to EUNE and offering them free server transfers to facilitate the move. This stems from the fact that Riot is removing the PLN currency as a payment option in the EUW store, offering a fully localized client over on EUNE platform.

Even though no player will be forced to transfer, Riot assures players support for Polish players will be focused primarily on EUNE. Continue reading for full details.

Here is NeeksNaman's full post:
"Summoners,

As the number of languages supported by League of Legends increases, so too does the complexity of support required to make sure we can offer great service to all of our players.

Going forward, support for our Polish community will be focused on our EU Nordic & East platform.

We want to take this time to make all of our Polish players aware of this change in advance, in order that there are no surprises.

From the 21st of September we will be removing the PLN currency as a payment option from the EU West store. PLN will still be supported on EU Nordic & East together with a fully localized client, forum, and player support. We understand this may limit your options, so we will also be offering all Polish players on EUW a free transfer option to EU Nordic & East.

It’s not our intent to force any player onto a specific platform, and the option to remain on EUW will still exist. However, we want to be certain that we provide the best service possible for our Polish community. This will be focused on EU Nordic & East.

Rather than transfer players automatically, all Polish players active in the last 6 months will receive a free Transfer option in the store. This offers a free single-use transfer to the EU Nordic & East platform."

  1. You can still pay with euros, what is the problem?

  2. No, the point is, buying RP with PLN was cheaper than with EURO, so Riot lost money, and it was only country who got support in both EUNE and EUW regions, so it's quite expencive, and when they got same type of support as Russia or Ukraine, they whine about discrimination. Both of those countries were never able to buy RP on EUW with their currency

    1. I can`t see why didn`t they just rise prices a bit then. And nobody really cares about the support, it is mostly about payment options. Of course I understand maintaing PLN on West currency could be expensive, but I guess that if Riot has simply said "Hey guys, we can afford it no longer, deep sorry, we must remove PLN payments", the whine would be 90% less. Instead they gave us some trash-talk about the quality and other bull**** , so people feel kind of neglected by them.

  3. Thx God, Riot should force the transfer, not just offering.

    3. wtf ? umad ? I just asked whether Polish players get a free transfer on each side -.-

    4. Of course they do, when Riot split the server in EUW and EUNE they offered a free transfer to the other part of the server.

    5. If i used to live in Poland and now i live in Germany, there will be no problem when i want to transfer to EUW and play German version?

      Delete
    6. There is no German language in EUNE i guess. Thats why even though i have an additonal account on EUNE i got English version on both servers. Makes life much easier.

  5. YES! Less polish people on EUW! That's totally awesome! Best thing riot have done since they banned over-reporters.

    1. Sometimes racism is the truth. Shushei is great guy i have seen him live and took picture with him, but sadly not all Polish guys are like Shushei. Not saying im racist, but most of my polish experiences have been bad :/

    2. Good polish players don`t feel an urgent need to spam at /all chat about their nationality, so I guess you may have just not noticed them.

    3. Very commonly polish people have PL in their name. They refuse to talk english, generally play badly, generally is very rude and angry.

Of course that's a generalization, and I've of course met some nice polish folks. There is just 20 fun breakers, for every good guy.

    4. I have several Polish friends (and I am Polish myself lol) at EUW and not even a single one has PL in his/her name. You just use stereotypes and that`s all

      Delete
    5. Imho that's not a stereotype but truth. Most polish players with "PL" in their nicks are kids, stupid ppl, trolls or a combination of those 3 types.
Idk how are those ppl treated nowdays in mmos but till about 2 years ago when i still played mmos much, they were most of the time laughed at and not taken seriously. It was much harder to become a memeber of a guild, clan, whatever if you had PL in your name and i'm talking not only about non-polish guilds but also polish ones in majority.

    6. It's also about your attitude. People who rather flame others will find national players very disgusting and hate them all around. Second point is, not only the Polish players are bad. There's a bad part of games in every country.

  7. BAD NEWS for you QQ`ers, I am Polish and I`m gonna stay at EUW forever, together with my several Polish friends. Buahaha. EUNE is so bad that transfering to it is like falling into elo-hell forever, so thanks, but not.

Btw God bless Paypal, I will just buy RP the same way as I used to.

  8. No real problem. It`s just not very cool by Riot to do like that with basically no explanation offered to players.

  9. I love the flame at Polish players but... every country has trolls/noobs that don't communicate... Spain, France, Germany (this one has a lot less! Love you guys!) etc.

I'm staying on EUW, EUN is filled with Russians, which we ALL LOVE, RIGHT?

    1. You are saying it like there's no russian players on EUW. Almost every game there's at least one. Though not every single one of them is retarded trolling feeder with rage issues and arrogance the size of their country, just most of them. Same goes for polish players, btw. And french (oh Christ, we got two french guys, lets just surrender). Every nation, really.

  11. I think RIot did big mistake, because polish player in EUW was buying a lot of Rp points, and now part of them sopt that, because they dont now how to buy for euro. And the prices in PLN was the same like euro, because if they was a low everybody was buying RP only in PLN

  12. I hope my polish playmates wont change region. They are quite op. They complain about ppl who make this stereotype, and fight with them by reporting and punishing.
I thought like u, before i met them.

  13. Im on EUNE and i feel kinda offended... euw server is life half of eune in population and they still want to bring more ppl, many on euw say that PL ppl "suck" and riot should do something about it,
"riot hmm what should we do? eh, drop them on eune, they're sucking already"
Dont be surprised if you see massive transfer at S3.

    1. Are you serious? Are you saying that "EUW server is a half of EUNE in population"? If so, you lied like a boss here. All the connection issues EUW has it's because most of EUNE population who should play on EUNE DON'T DO THAT, and no racism here, just common sense... EUW is just overpopulated. Riot merged the old server because of the connection problems, and EUW - EUNE are way smaller than the old one; nevertheless, it keeps taking more and more players. People on EUNE want things as they were in the past so they transfer (or even make new accounts on EUW)their accounts, but it cannot be until Riot changes THE ENTIRE SERVER, which would be expensive and would take a really loooooong time. Please, next time think about your words.

About the news... Well, if they are going to make a pretty "comfortable" server for Polish people... It would be worth a try. Some Polish could not bear the Euro-Zloty (Polish currency) change. But if they want to stay (even with all I said before, don't get me wrong), they are welcome (don't complain later on about the server status!)

    2. Divided*, not merged. Just the opposite.

  14. NOOOOOOOO
I know some good Polish players, with which I play frequently, but at least 80% are not like that.
    NOOOOOOOO

btw, we have something simillar to ebay, where we can buy RP ;)

  15. I don't really care about that move. Support don't care about us anyway, and about RP's there's always some way to buy skins not only PLN.

  16. srsly riot urging polish players back to eune so we can suffer even more...

    ReplyDelete
  17. what explanation do you need , they won't keep 2 support teams on separate servers for every single language. You chose to stay on "foreign" platform so you chose to deal with the supported language and currencies :)

    ReplyDelete
  18. I'am from Poland and I should say "F@*king American tards that even don't know where Poland try to tell us - GTFO from West - U place is on EUNE".

Well RIOT no matter how they try explain this, they just show too all Europe how sad company this is...

RIOT is not anymore about players. It's money, money and they just cut a part of income...

This is suicide shot from RIOT.
