I'Park Mall in Seoul, South Korea |
This regional final is being held at the Yongsan I-Park Mall E-Sports Stadium in Seoul, South Korea. Beginning tomorrow (September 12th) and lasting all the way until September 21st, Korean teams will battle it out for their shot at glory! The winner of this tournament will join Azubu Frost as the second Korean team to qualify for the S2WC. The 2nd to 5th place teams from the Korean Challenger Circuit have qualified for this event.
It is going to be a single elimination, best of 5 tournament. Strangely, the final games of each round are supposed to be played as blind pick, instead of tournament draft mode. Weird, right? Every other game will be draft pick. Here are your teams playing for the ultimate win:
Azubu Blaze
- Reapered - Top
- Ambition - AP Mid
- Helios - Jungle
- Lustboy - Support
- Cpt Jack - AD Carry
CJ Entus

i cant wait to see more of the e-sports stadium, those koreans looks pretty hardcore with their awesome mall and what is this about blind pick for the final round? is it possible the world finals will be played this way?
ReplyDeleteIt's a strange situation. The final game of each best of five will be played as a blind pick as far as I understand.
DeleteI doubt the world finals will be played like this.
Ive seena couple of tournaments with this set up...it really spice things up but i doubt the world finals will be played like this
DeleteI'm going to go at this Friday, really excited xD
ReplyDeleteOnly less than an hour from where I live
Very cool. I'd love to go if it wasn't halfway across the world lol
Deleteseranaya; i dont know much of these team with the exception of hearing about blaze being awesome and watching reapered stream once (he played ad fizz and made me cry with awesomness)... but who is your favorite to win
ReplyDeleteI'd really like Azubu Blaze to win. I want to see both of these teams in the S2WC playing against the best of the best.
Deletewait where is azubu frost?
ReplyDeleteAzubu Frost is already qualified for Season 2 Finals... This will decide the 2nd team representing Korea.
DeleteAww yeah! So are they going to live-stream it? Is it going to be on the OGN site?
ReplyDeleteOk nvm, I found it. ^^
DeleteIs there any way to watch this in JUST Korean?
ReplyDeleteAnyone there do have a link to this stream?
ReplyDeleteAs far as I can find, the only stream is the one linked in the post that you have to sign up for.

Thanks for answering for meeeeeee!
DeleteWell, the matches are kinda nice, but that one korean caster is just obnoxious. Always knows everything better and generally just pointing out how "bad" everyone is.
ReplyDeleteAre you going to be posting the results and/or replays of the matches like you did in the NA regionals?
ReplyDeleteYessir I will as I can. I'm in class / work this evening till late. Once the VODs are up I'll put them on here too. Keep watch!
DeleteI knew Azubu frost qualified earlier...but why? or how?
DeleteWell earlier there was the Korean circuit. All of the Korean teams played and whoever came out in first place got an automatic bye into the season 2 world championships. So Azubu Frost won that and doesn't have to play in the regionals. C:
