Date for 2x IP Compensation pushed back and duration doubled!

Good news! For those worried about the timing of the compensation Riot is handing out in lieu of the problems at the S2 playoffs, Riot has pushed the date of the 2x IP day back a weekand extended it's duration from 24 hours to 48 hours!

Here is RedBeards updated announcement about it!
"We know the issues during the World Playoffs yesterday sucked. It was frustrating for everyone watching at home, and we feel that frustration. We’re taking everything we’ve learned from yesterday to make the conclusion of the Playoffs and the World Finals next Saturday as great as they can possibly be.

As a token of our thanks for your tremendous patience and dedication, we’re going to be giving out double IP for 24 hours after Finals, starting midnight PST on Sunday, October 14th. 48 hours, starting 11:59pm PDT on Friday, October 19.

We extended the duration of the boost and moved it out a week to ensure smooth log-in queues and more convenient play times.

Details on the conclusion of the playoffs are coming together and will be announced in the near future. Thanks for understanding!"

      Play lot's of Dominion games cuz they actually give off the most IP (if you win)

      Actually, if you factor in loading screen time, time waiting for a match, and the like, I'm not so sure. SR might on average might give more per hour, since the dominion bonus is so small now :/

    Question: If I use a day boost during the event will I get 3x or 4x IP?

    I been scouring the forums and no one seems to have a clear answer. I can't remember what it was from the last time they had a 2x IP event. >_<

      I believe it is 3x te amount gained, so it won't double the double ip.
