New Login Theme for the S2 World Championship!

In lieu of the World Playoffs starting on October 4th, Riot has updated the login with something a little more appropriate. Behold the S2 World Championship Login theme!
If you haven't yet been able to check it out, restart your clients! A small patch has to be downloaded before you can enjoy the new log in.

ReplyDeleteHey Moobeat, don't know if you read this, I'm downloading the patch right now and it is like 200MB and it includes mp3 files with champ names like "Ezreal.mp3", "Sion.mp3", it also included files like "champselectBlindPick.mp3" (I don't remember the name exactly but it was similar to this) and it also included tutorial mp3 files similar to this: "015.Tutorial.PvP.net.Chat.mp3" this was made up I don't remember exactly.
ReplyDeleteDo you know what else may have come with this patch that we don't know yet? Is there any way to check the files in the game folder?
Edit; Hey! Moobeat! I went to this folder "C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases\0.0.0.206\deploy\assets\sounds" yours may be a little different and found lots of files that were modified today (that means the launcher downloaded them on this patch) and they include new friend login sound for chat.!
DeleteCheck this folders too:
C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases\0.0.0.206\deploy\assets\sounds\newSounds
C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases\0.0.0.206\deploy\assets\images\items (New images for potions
C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases\0.0.0.206\deploy\assets\images\runes (Here i found runes about intel core series proceesors but I don't know if they are new, cause all of this files were updated)
If all of this is old I'll feel pretty ashamed
I think this is the halloween patch. I think they activate it on oct the 3rd
DeleteThe runes are old images, as are the potions. Now sure on sounds but it could just be small changes ( they happen commonly on PBE it seems ). I'll look around some more though!

DeleteAnd by the way, have i just missed out on news, or is it finally Free again to transfer in Europe? Also, there seems to be a new option which is free too, it's called Transfer to Turkey! Any info on this?
