TSM Reginald Un-retires!

Posted on at 4:39 PM by Seranaya
Reginald has put out another video concerning his retirement. He has decided to not retire and continue playing AP mid for Team SoloMid for season 3. TSM fans can rejoice!
Continue reading for a tiny recap of other things he spoke about.

He also discusses the cheating allegations that have blown up in the last day against almost every team that played so far. He explains the photo that is circulating in which Dyrus has his head turned towards the mini map screens. This is the photo in question:
The photo of Dyrus looking at the mini map.
He states that the tournament should continue on as it was without any redos.

  2. Well, I'm glad to see that Regi is staying. Sure he can be a bit crude at times but that's what makes him, him. Besides, I couldn't see TSM without him.

    1. I think it would be a bit off too, at least for awhile without him in the team.

    2. I agree with you, TSM is not TSM if Regi leaves so GO TSM and GL play for your fan!

    3. Hey guys, remember The Rainman? No... Oh, okay. (Never Forget)

I liked Dyrus more back then too, he played Poppy and Singed all the time.

  5. I KNEW IT! One does not simply "retire" from playing a video game.

    1. Are u kidding me? This isnt the NBA/NFL/MLB... ppl have to retire in video games due to injuries & to spend some time with their families, u know.

    2. Exactly...
But that's assuming that this was a legit retirement and not a PR stunt. Which it most likely is.

    3. Like to see how you react to being completely decimated at a World Championship... until you reach that point you can judge anyone..

    4. Do you need to be an oscar -winning director first before you can tell which films are bad? or do you have to be profressional sportsman to see which one plays bad?

    5. @Justice: Honestly, he should be freaking elated that he is one of the very, very people who even got to participate in the first place. Why are you supporting this?
You don't just simply "un-retire..." He obviously had this planned for months before hand. When he either won or lost at the World Championship, he would retire, either on the high or low note. Then, when everyone was feeling sorry for TSM and was nostalgia'ing about TSM's good days, he would miraculously return! Praise the Regi! Hooray for him back! And hopefully noone would notice how just plain silly it all was.

Gets really annoying after awhile :/

  16. Azubu Frost had microphone difficulties during the match with TSM and Regi is accusing them of knowing the locations of his team mates during the game.
Lol it would be hilarious if Azubu Frost could somehow hear the convo that was going on between TSM which in the end caused them to have microphone problems xD

  17. I've said this @Riot Responds to Cheating Allegations and 2x IP after Finals and just repost this here..

My personal opinion, the best team (this is World Championship - they're the best from all continent right?) should've could overcome any problems even if enemy cheat or not. if TSM lost just because AF player look into minimap once, they deserved to lose the game..

i Watched all AF game, in some games AF getting killed early giving enemy 1st blood, and some game AF enemy doing pretty well, but somehow AF could turn the tide.. solid teamwork and good focus win the game not turning the head to the screen.. lol..

    1. A team only 'deserves' to lose a game if they are legitimately outplayed. When the best in the world face off against the best in the world, the outcome is going to be decided by very small factors. I agree, looking at the minimap once doesn't confer a huge advantage - but at this level of play, a slight advantage can be all that's needed, and it was an advantage that was (if the allegations are true) ill-gotten.

I agree that Azubu didn't need to look at the minimap to win, and I'm pretty convinced this whole issue has been blown out of proportion. Still, saying "They only cheated a little bit; TSM should have manned up and won anyway!" seems unsatisfactory to me.

    2. My point is AF doesn't need to cheat for winning against TSM.. they owned TSM on that game.. about 1st paragraph it's just illustration about mental and dignity for being the best team of the world, about level of play i should say thay're all about the same level aren't they? slight advantage? read my 2nd paragraph please.. my 2nd paragraph explained that teamwork and focus that bring winning to the team even they have early disadvantages (doesn't have to be cheated)..

      Delete
    3. I agree, they probably didn't NEED to cheat to win, but if they DID cheat, then they deserve to be punished. I don't really see what "teamwork and focus" has to do with anything concerning the question of foul play - if they cheated, then they cheated.

  18. Buhuhuhu, we lost..
since we lost they must be cheating... we never lose!! ;((

  19. Guys, we shouldn't be accusing teams of cheating.

But I think Azubu Frost cheated.

But there's no evidence to prove it.

But I still feel like they did.

But we shouldn't be accusing teams of cheating.

But seriously I think they cheated.

  21. It would be awesome if Reginald left and we got an attractive dude on TSM. In fact that should be a rule and Snoopeh should be the minimum requirement of attractiveness. At least one player must be as attractive as or more attractive than Snoopeh. I've spoken my piece!

  22. I hate TSM because they have this as captain

    ReplyDelete
  23. Like to see Reginald staying. Hands down the best NA AP mid.

Any idea if the communication between the members of the team is recorded? Could provide more solid proof if Azubu actually saw something.

Not punishing people for cheating cause they would have won anyways is not logical. That would just encourage people for unsportsmanlike behaviour. However AF cannot obviously be punished with this minimal evidence.

  24. You guys are being insane. This guy's Karthus is god-tier. Possibly the best Karthus in the world. The way he laned against a Lux as Karthus, RapidStar's Lux (a nightmare), is incredible. The way he kited the Irelia for the kill in game 2? He is really good. He has a much lower pool of champs to play, but his Morgana, Karthus, Ryze, and Ahri are all top notch. He is possibly the most charismatic guy in the entire game. You may think of him as a dick, but in reality he just speaks his mind and gives no fucks. You can get mad at him for that, but his team loves him for who he is. He is a brother to them, and he is a pretty damn good play caller. The only way we can decide if this is for the best is if he ends up playing more this upcoming year. This last year, he slacked a bit. However, he was definitely not the weak link at the Worlds. He was, possibly, their best player.

You guys need to stop with this hating that all of a sudden became popular, and realize this guy is damn good.

    1. In term of skills he's good.. in term of kid's psychology, he's 3-5 years old kid, who can't accept being defeated..

I'm going to retire from TSM..
      i hate the championship...
      they're cheating..
      i feel so blue..
Uhh my team offer me a load of candies..
      i guess i'll be back..

    2. ^ LoL to that..
I Guess i'm gonna respect him more if he really quit TSM.

    3. He thought it would be best for him to quit the team. So he just came out and said it. He never really raged about them cheating, he said "they beat us, we were outplayed". He didn't make excuses. I don't think you guys understand he OWNS TSM and has all the business aspect as well. Cut the kid some slack. That's a lot to handle.
