GG WP. Good jobe Riot! Nice final.
ReplyDelete1st...yeah.
A real good jobe
DeleteThe jobe was well executed.
DeleteJob, a good it was.
Deletejobe jobe
Deleteexcellent jobe!!!
DeleteI love their jobe!
DeleteCongrats to TPA, i was rooting for the underdogs
ReplyDeleteseriously now? TPA underdogs? ROFL LOL!! check out the Garena Premier League GPL they're the number 1 team out of 6 teams..and you call them underdogs..just LOL for you! dumass noob..
Deletelol dude, get your shit straight compared to ALL the OTHER teams they where in fact considered the underdogs. Also nice job at making yourself sound like a cumwade with that kind of reply.
DeleteBecause NA teams are really worth mentioning compared to EU/Asian teams
DeleteAt above, there was CLG.EU, M5, AZF, Najin Sword, etc.
DeleteOnly ignorant people calls TPA underdogs, i knew when the tournament was announced that TPA would win no matter the groups
DeleteYou guys are stupid and don't know what underdog means. Taipei assassins were the least known team on international level that made it past the group stage, the only one less recognized was saigon jokers.
DeletePeople who called them underdogs are ignorant? No shit, sherlock. That's a part of the underdog definition. Nobody expects someone whose name has had no weight in the past high profile tournaments to be a winner, simply because they believe that person to have less high-level tournament experience, and because they don't know the full extent of their abilities.
Also, Garena premier league isn't a tournament where really great teams participate, plain and simple. The first team who gave taipei assassins a challenge in the league was Singapore sentinels, and SGS weren't an incredible team at that time. They simply served as a wake up call for TPA and had them practising hard, as they proved when tpa effortlessly took the cup again.
Therefore, nobody can be blamed for considering TPA an underdog. They were one, as was demonstrated plain and simple.
They however, are an amazing team, and i was hoping they would do very well. However, i'm not fanboying hard enough to state after they won the cup that "herp, i knew it all along". No you didn't, you're not an oracle. Nobody can tell exactly how a tournament would end.
^ +1
Deletewhen im lonely I like to get on websites and rage about people raging ^^
DeleteGuess you're not lonely ATM then... There's a destinct lack of caps.
DeleteMaybe a more apt description, instead of Underdog, would be that TPA was a dark horse to almost all of the NA scene.
DeleteRegardless of how good TPA are, no one I know, including myself, had ever even heard of them before. So yes, they were indeed underdogs this time around. Even the NA forums were flooded with people saying AF would stomp them.
Deletethey were black horses, not 'underdogs'
DeleteDont understand why people choose to be idiots when on the internet.
Deletelol for americans/europeans calling them underdogs...we asians know the taipei assassins for a long time..and so as the other NA and EU teams..we dont only watch tournaments that are for asia only, but for europe and the US..simply put, when those americans/europeans calling them underdogs, doesnt watch asian tournaments..so yeah, fu..
DeleteThose who are raging at OP for saying Taipei are the underdogs, you obviously didn't watch the whole stream. When they were interviewed, the guy asked how they feel about being called the underdog team. They said, themselves, they are well aware they're the underdog team on the tournament, they said they know they "suck", and that's why they here at the finals, to show the world that they'll win the underdogs will win the tournament. Please, people, don't jump to conclusions too quickly.
DeleteRuneAnimer, lol.
DeleteI thought the finals were really good. I'm happy that TPA won, but I would've also been happy if Frost won. All in all it was a pretty good tournament.
ReplyDeleteThey all did great, all the hard work and effort. Though, I was slightly disappointed when AZF lost.
Delete^This guy has the same avatar as me. Lol
DeleteNO, this guy has the same thing as me...
DeleteOK... why do we all have Kirby?
Delete^ This made me laugh! I love you guys!
DeleteGG wp TPA !
ReplyDeleteToyz + Orianna = OP
ReplyDeleteAzubu kind of dug their own grave when they decided not to ban Orianna after they saw just how powerful Toyz was on her.
But anyways, congratz to TPA!!
Actually they would have to ban Oriana, Karthus and Anivia, if they wanted to idsable Toyz. Considering they wanted some other champ bans, that wouldnt happen anyway
DeleteThat was really fun to watch, really well played by TPA, AF did their best but that wasn't enough to beat the amazing teamwork of TPA.
ReplyDeletelol azumu frost got wat they deserve (cheating), they shoulda have been kicked out when they were caught cheated but noo
ReplyDeleteAll the Azubu Frost Haters still have to remember one thing. It's that they still won $250,000 minus the $30,000 fine. So yeah make fun of them all you want, because they still received the money and are recognized as probably one of the best teams in LoL
DeleteYou don't think that the cheating allegation pretty much puts a black mark on their reputation? At the very least, Woong's reputation is affected, since he's the offender. There's also rumors abound that the little stint against TSM isn't the only time they, or Woong, has "looked at the global audience map".
DeleteCheating from any team (even the team you want to win) is still just terrible. I was for CLG.na and even if they cheated, I would think differently about them.
DeleteStill don't get why they (Frost) are considered the cheaters and getting raged on by most people. Yes they did check the screen once, and seemingly avioded a huge gank that may or may not have gotten first kill (no way to prove that) no one can deny that.
DeleteBut correct me if I'm wrong didn't TSM do that twice, that is look at the global map screen? and didn't other teams do it as well? To me its like if a athlete took some kinda steroid to help improve their performance than it didn't help him/her win anything. But either way he/she would still be fined/banned from competing in said event along with the others that did the same thing and had better results from their cheating.
To me all this raging on one team seems a bit petty, and before you ask I am from NA. Stop hounding ABF for something almost all the teams did.
Not saying that TSM or anyone else didn't cheat or anything, but if you looked at Riot's announcement on the rules violations, they said that the only game-changing situation was Azubu Frost's. Here's the quote directly from the forum post:
Delete"We evaluated these cases based on intent, severity and tangible impact to the course of the game. Based on our investigation, the Azubu Frost incident is the only one where we determined there to be tangible impact – we believe other members of AzF modified their gameplay (level 1 ping and Jayce brush check) based upon the information gained. We don’t believe, however, that these actions decided the winner of the game."
Again, I don't hate Azubu Frost or anything, just providing explanation for these peoples' comments.
I WONDER IF AZF EVER PRACTICED CHEATING, LOL!
DeleteLOOKING UPSIDE DOWN...
With some Luck, we are going to see more Orianna's in the Matches from now On, as always thanks to Seranaya and Moobeat for the marvelous briefing, because everything went off again, so It's nice to have the team of Surrender @ 20 ready and willing to do an Excellent Job.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliments! <3 We love you too
DeleteI just realized you live very close to where my wife is from, and close to me as well..lol My wife is from Richmond IN, and I am from Lima OH.
DeleteSmall world..:P
Although we are both currently located in Hawaii due to military reasons.
I am from Lima, OH!
DeleteTPA TPA
ReplyDeleteshup up azubu haters! <3
ReplyDeleteNope.
DeleteOlaf should have taken Maw of Malmortius vs Karthus.... It synergizes so well with Olaf's passive and all he had for MR was a Force of Nature. Not only would that have given him some MR, but also the shield would have blocked practically all of the requiem. Would have been an easy 3-0 win for TPA if Olaf had just built a Maw to cut down Karthus.
ReplyDeleteExactly what I was thinking while watching that. Anyways, amazing performance by Stanley, he proved to be the superior top lane player in every possible aspect.
DeleteI think their main problems was Amumu and sona ulti, both give Frost lot of time to deal enough damage to ad carry/jungle so kathus ulti can finish them off. I noticed that Stanley actually tried to get amumu late game.
Deleteabsolutely, Stanley dominated his lane. But he had only built hp and armor during the lane phase. Once it got to team fight phase, had hadn't rounded out his build yet and Olaf's JOB is to take down the enemy team's biggest threat, which was karthus, since his ult literally lets him run through everything but a terrain effect (wall or pillar).
DeleteThat and the entire team was focused on killing a slippery ezreal while karthus was just happily pounding out the dps.
Don't get me wrong. Props to TPA! They are by all rights the best League of Legends team that competed in the championship. I love seeing their impressive gameplay against AF and M5. Just critiquing a small overlook of theirs.
DeleteEzreal was amazing in the first game, zoning out Vayne completely. What Vayne should actually do to further utilize her burst is to follow Ezreal and Irelia by buying GA... GA is the big problem right now, apart from the stats and the mechanic itself. It creates a morale wall, it actively lowers your priority in teamfights. It creates one certain thought - "let's ignore that guy for now, he's not gonna die anyways"... And it actually worked in this particular game - Irelia and Ezreal, after getting GA were practically ignored and survived every encounter nearly unscratched. It's especially useful on heavy burst champions, like Vayne for example. Should she pick GA and just ignore Ezreal's poking, she would probably do much more damage and even "die", effectively avoiding Karthus' Requiem while being reborn and then finish remaining AZFers off. Just a quick thought.
DeleteWhile Maw would have been a better item to build on Olaf like you said, it would not have been an "easy" win. Every teamfight, there were around 2-3 survivors on AF, usually Ezreal + support near full health. Olaf would have been near death, he would have gotten dropped.
DeleteIt definitely would have been an improvement over FoN, but it wouldn't have changed anything.
Maybe if Azubu Frost had a chance to peak at the map they would've had a better chance at winning.
ReplyDeleteThere's no maybe about it, if they could see the whole map they would have had a better chance at winning. Unlike TSM, you could give them all the advantages in the world and most of the other teams in this tournament would destroy them.
DeleteI dont see any member of Azubu frost crawl out and look at the map.
ReplyDeletecalm down about that one look at the map. is not like takin steroids in sports ...
ReplyDeleteI thought TPA was gonna get crushed after that first loss... so glad they came back to steamroll AF in the next 3.
ReplyDeleteAlso who else is happy that cait and vayne got to shine in the finals? Both on the winning team too!
I am. It's a breath of fresh air from seeing Ezrael, Corki, and Graves in nearly every single match.
DeleteMore like, Ezreal every match, Graves sometimes, and Corki never because he got overnerfed.
DeleteOut of the three, I feel like Ez is the only one that stood out. It seems like Graves lost every match he was in... at least the ones that I saw
DeleteVODS??? whats that?
ReplyDeleteview on demand.
DeleteI think this poster (like myself) was wondering where they are.
DeleteCRY AZUBU NOOBS
ReplyDeleteCRY TSM FANBOYS
DeleteThe cheaters lost! YEAH!
ReplyDeleteNo minimap, no win.
Delete^Karma fo sho
Deleteoh shutap, TPA was just better
DeleteYeah...
DeleteThe stream stayed constant throughout the finals on own3D. heard from the others there were some issues with twitch on the forth game.
ReplyDeleteYes, we missed 2 kills made by TPA on twitch, from 15 to 17.
DeleteStanley forever alone
ReplyDeletehttp://1.bp.blogspot.com/-U0FcftSwcY0/UHpV7nAKrII/AAAAAAAAAdc/BbLVrMS-f04/s640/cup3.png
More Like Good Guy Stanley. :D
Deletepff kids
ReplyDeleteI'm happy for TPA but did anyone else notice the not so flattering walk-off shot of 5 guys struggling to carry the trophy off stage. When hockey players win the Stanley cup they can hold it over their heads without assistance. I know this trophy looks a lot heavier but dang, lol.
ReplyDeleteHaha! I felt really bad for them. Honestly, investing an hour to work out isn't really all that difficult. 30 minutes of weight training and 30 minutes of cardio about 5 times a week would do all e-sports dudes some good! Couple that with a solid diet plan and these guys would probably feel a lot better, perform better, and look better to boot. Hell, if they are really that pressed for time do some tabata in-between those long as hell queues.
Deleteyea... the team as a whole are now millionaires and within 5 mins they are doing manual labor... doesn't sound american to me...
ReplyDeleteFree. Riven. Skin.
ReplyDeleteIts not a skin u get,its a summoner icon that u get!!
Deleteyou get a skin if you went to the finals!!!
Deletefree.riven.summonericon
DeleteDid I mention....I. Went. To. The. Finals?
Deleteno?
DeleteWhen the skin is going to be avaible?
ReplyDeleteAlways gonna be an azubu frost fan!!! no matter wut happens
ReplyDeleteHow many times was Leona played during the competition? Also what was the win rate on her?
ReplyDeleteElobuff says 5 games and a 40% win rate but those are incomplete stats.
Deletewhere is championship rven?????
ReplyDeleteMen as olaf player I had a needle struck my heart each time olaf focused amumu and not ezreal or karthus, also no maw :S. They beat them in the others rounds in a unbelievable manner, just so strong. But the first one olaf had 8 kills at mid game and he may always had 1 for all he did xD.
ReplyDeleteIndeed
ReplyDeleteTPA diserved this more than any other team.
ReplyDeleteWhere can i see the replays??
ReplyDeleteAnd btw thx moo for the code
Glad TPA won. Having cheaters win the Championship would have compromised the integrity of the competition, if letting them continue this far hadn't already.
ReplyDeleteAsians ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...
ReplyDeleteAll uglies, fatties and nerd faces...
lol
Just from the attitude I get from this one single post you must get reported alot in-game. ^_^
DeleteWhy so angry bro? Mad cause you uglier?
Deletelol at the immediate defensive response. You get offended fairly easily.
Deletepeople tend to get offended by offensive things dumbass
DeleteI remember them destroying in the early summer... Bebe played vayne consistently and just destroyed teams.... Then i asked my friend about them late june... Said they stopped practicing and sucked... I was happy when they got to worlds... Im glad to see them win
ReplyDeleteanyone know what song they were playing yesterday at the world finals yesterday?
ReplyDeleteThey had a huge orchestra playing it
and they said you could download or buy it from somehwere =?
you could get it on ebay. lol!
DeleteTsm totally won
ReplyDeletei knew M5 BenQ would win..great job moscow 5 for being season 2 world champs..
ReplyDeleteJust a quick question (it's probably been addressed, but I just started my second job and have been helping my brother move, so cut me some slack on the ignorance):
ReplyDeleteHow come Azubu Frost didn't get disqualified if they had been caught cheating? I had heard there had been a fine levied against them, but I thought that cheat, in the World Championship no less, would result in a disqualification.
Or is that now how it works in eSports?
They actually got fined $30,000 from their total winnings.
DeleteThey didn't get disqualified since it was only Woong who cheated, and the advantage that they gained, albeit an advantage, could not have made a significant impact afterwards on the game.
TPA PLAYERS = NOOBS, I CAN SELL THEM SOME ELO, MY NAME IS SONAKAI, I LVL 31
ReplyDelete
