First things first, lets look at the setup of the event and who's playing in it. This tournament is comprised of eight teams in two groups of four. Group stages are set up in a round robin format that is a best-of-one style. The top two teams of each group will advance to the playoffs. Once in the playoffs, each match will be played as a best-of-three. The games will be played on the Zed patch. These teams are playing to qualify for the IEM World Championship. As for who's playing? The event will be cast by some really great casters: Joe 'Joe Miller' Miller, Leigh 'Deman' Smith, Jason 'ButButButILY' Kaplan, Alvar 'Araneae' Alenar, Daniel 'Zenon' Klein. The prize pool will be split as follows:
- 1st: $15,500
- 2nd: $8,500
- 3rd-4th: $4,500
- 5th-6th: $3,000
- 7th-8th: $2,500
