Karma Update Tentatively Slated for January

Good news on the Karma rework front! Guinsoo tweeted out earlier saying she won't be ready for Christmas but maybe, just maybe, she'll be out during January of next year.
Karma won't be ready for Christmas :( But we hope to have her ready for January. Don't treat that as a promise, just what we're hoping for
I'd recommend rereading that last part :)

    Has there been any news on her Stormblade (Bladestorm?) skin? Several months ago, all we saw was a glimpse of it. I hope it comes out when she's reworked.

    Yeah, I know she's proven to be a bad character by her statistics. But as I main Karma, I'm going to miss her current kit, specially Mantra Soul Shield. F**k the stun she's got, I get around pretty well with only a slow.
    I hope Mantra is still an "ammo" styled ult but with longer recharging time.

    Don't screw with one of your best character concepts, Riot! She just needed love, and a remodel. Not a full rework :(.

    agreed, I used to main Karma as support [stoped cause people sweared at me ç.ç
    I really like the whole concept of "ult enchances the next skill" that she had, I hope she won't lose that too. :/

    I'm sorry, but the amount of contradictions in your little paragraph is just astounding. First, you say that she's bad, statistically. Whether that means the player base sucks cock with her, or you're just saying her overall stats are bad, I will never know. And with that, whichever way you turn that to, you go and say she needs a nerf. Then go about saying how she doesn't need a rework, just love and a remodel. I'm confused as to what your point is, other than the fact that you are severely confused about the champion you main.



    Let me list your points, just so we're clear and on the same page:
    -Karma is bad
    -I main Karma, she's good
    -Nerf ult recharge time
    -Stop messing with the best champion of all time
    -She needs love, remodel, but no rework

    The hell?
    - He said she was bad, yes.
    - He said he mained her, not that she was good.
    - In the sense of how it is being reworked but still in an ammo system (whereas a mantra charged ability is more like an ult)
    - He likes her the way she is, one of the best "concepts" not champion (in his opinion)
    - None of what he said contradicts this.


    Can't say I agree with the guy, but your points were completely off from what he said...

    I hope so - I missed Sakura by one day last time it was on sale, I'd like to pick it up before the remodel. I got very pleasantly surprised with Dryad Soraka, hoping I'm just as happy with Sakura Karma's redo.

    See, what I got was this.
    1. In statistics, Karma is viewed as a bad champ. AKA big loss rate.
    2. He mained Karma, and will miss her current kit once it is changed.
    3. Shield is awesome. I agree 2000% on this.
    4. He hopes the ammo system stays the same, even if they increase the recharge.
    5. She needs remodel, as she has kind of a old model, but does not need a FULL rework.

    As a support player, I'm kind of happy they are changing her ulti - it will be much more interesting to have a proper ultimate rather than an enhancement of the abilities. The old ulti is really, really bad, and up to now Karma hasn't really been a viable support (look at the statistics). Teams would rather have a Sona, Janna, Soraka or Lulu rather than a Karma.... Hopefully these changes will make her more dynamic, fun and game-impacting. And please, please change these ugly spell particles ;(

      As far as I'm aware, her skillset will remain as it is by name, but the skills will be reworked. So she essentially has the same kit, but with nerfs/buffs/new effects to bring her upto par with the game.
