The Korean LoL servers are preparing for a giant celebratory event in light of their one year anniversary as a community and if you poke around the mini site, you'll find a splash art for a brand new Shaco skin commemorating the event!

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if that's another mistake on my part, but I saw it as 신 as in divine/God, and 바람 obviously meaning wind. Would it require a space? I'm not sure if I've ever seen 신바람 used to mean that word, though. Is it more of a regional thing? I grew up in Seoul area and haven't left it much before I moved to America.

ReplyDeleteI'm wondering why you never considered consulting a dictionary before actually translating this thing. Incredibly, for many languages, simple, short words can have multiple definitions. Just look up 신바람 in the National Institute of the Korean Language or something. Both 신 and 신바람,

ReplyDeleteNeither CAT nor I am perfect. I'm also a college student running on minimal amount of sleep due to exams. Of course there was going to be mistakes. However, the issue was that Joyful was not a part of the definitional pool that CAT pulled up for me. Do you even use Computer-Assisted Translating? Do you actually speak Korean? Why are you picking a fight with someone who, out of goodness of their heart, translated a web site and was asking for clarifications because there was a definition that wasn't in a program that is essentially a dictionary? Honestly, people like you are why I just want to ignore the comment section on stuff I've translated sometimes.
