With only a few weeks left in the Summer Split, we're back with another edition of This Week in eSports!

      Team, Player, & Organization News


      • An official competitive ruling has been issued upon Shern 'Shernfire' Tai regarding his Elo boosting incidents. This ruling was created for transparency to all potentially interested teams as Shernfire now is of eligible age for the OPL.
      • Riot Nick Allen , esports manager and league operations, is parting ways with Riot to be closer with family at the end of July. More information and a fine goodbye can be found in the LoL esports article - "Nick Allen leaving Riot for new adventures".
      • Nick Allen made a few tweeted out a bit on the situation. -  (1/2)  
      • Riot has put out a player spotlight on Rush, TIP's starting Jungler.

      • Riot has also put out a team spotlight on the EU LCS team Giants Gaming

      • The first wave of tickets will go on sale on the following dates, with details & pricing for each event released 2 days before: 
      Group stages - Paris - July 8th
      Quarterfinals - London - July 15th
      Semifinals - Brussels - July 22nd
      Finals - Berlin - July 29th
