The 2015 World Championship is set to begin on Thursday, October 1st with the Group Stages. Be sure to check the schedule for times and matches.
The Group Stage will take place from October 1st - 11th with 6 matches per day in a round robin format, Quarterfinals begin on October 15th.

Team, Player, Event & Organization News
NA:
- Team Dragon Knights has rebranded and changed names to Team Arena Online. The NACS team will retain Seraph, Kez, and Ninja.
- Team Solomid and Counter Logic Gaming have been voted in to compete in the Intel Extreme Masters San Jose in late November.
- CLG's jungler, Xmithie, has had his VISA approved and will be set to compete as the CLG starting jungler for the 2015 Worlds Group Stage.
- Two bits of Team Liquid news for this week:
- Peter has stepped down as Team Liquid's coach.
- To quell rumors, Team Liquid shared that Piglett has extended his contract to November 2016!
OCE:
- An official competitive ruling has been issued upon Team Immunity regarding the failure to pay minimum match payments to their players. The owners and the organisation will not be able to compete in the OPL or any official League of Legends tournaments for 2 years.
Riot:
- [9/29 UPDATE] A slew of 2015 World Championship content, including the new Championship Kalista, 2015 WC Ward skin, and summoner icons + returning Legacy content, is available through November 5th!
