2016 Mid-Season Invitational - Group Stages [May 4th - 8th]

2016 Mid-Season Invitational

The 2016 Mid-Season Invitational  is underway and pits the top teams from across the globe against each other for cash prizes and a chance at a top four seed for their region at Worlds 2016. MSI will be a twelve day event - five days of the round-robin Group stage (May 4th-8th) followed by the top four teams moving on to a Best of Five bracket stage Semifinals (May 13th-14th) and the final two against each other in the Finals (May 15th).

Teams will be competing for the $450,000 prize pool, with $250,000 going to first place, $100,000 to second place, and $50,000 going to third and fourth place. The official ruleset can be found here.

• Counter Logic Gaming ( NA LCS )
• Flash Wolves ( LMS )
• Royal Never Give Up ( LPL )
• SK Telecom T1 ( South Korea / LCK )
• SuperMassive ( International Wild Card Invitational Winner )

2016 Mid-Season Invitational will be played on patch 6.8 with Aurelion Sol enabled.
