New Champion: Qiyana
Our newest champion, Qiyana, is now testing on the PBE! Before we get into the full details, here's Riot Szymba with a bug thread for reporting any issues:
"Hello everyone!
The newest champion Qiyana is now available on the PBE! We are still hard at work polishing her up and fixing bugs for her release. If you happen to come across something odd during your time playing as, with, or against Qiyana on the PBE, please let us know through the Report a Bug Tool with a description of what happened and whatever other information you can provide.
I'll be looking through this thread and the reports from the tool for the rest of the 9.13 cycle and beyond.

"Swing your weapon, dealing 85/105/125/145/165 (+100% bAD) to enemies hit (75% damage to targets beyond the first). Whenever you enchant your weapon with Terrashape, this spell upgrades to Elemental Wrath and resets its cooldown.
Elemental Wrath: Overcharge your enchantment to blast it in target direction. It detonates on the first enemy or when it ends, deals 85/105/125/145/165 (+100% bAD) damage to units hit, and:
- River Enchantment: Briefly root enemies hit, then slow them by 20% for 1s.
- Wall Enchantment: 51/63/75/87/99 (+60% bAD) bonus damage to units below 50% health.

Passive: While your weapon is enchanted, you gain 20% Attack Speed and your attacks and basic abilities deal 8/16/24/32/40 (+30% AP)(+20% bAD) bonus magic damage. Additionally, you gain 5/6.25/7.5/8.75/10% movement speed while out of combat and near the corresponding terrain type."
Audacity (E)
40/45/50/55/60 Mana
12/11/10/9/8s Cooldown

Supreme Display of Talent (R)
100 Mana
120s Cooldown
"Creates a non-damaging shockwave that knocks back enemies and stops when it hits a wall.
Any River, Brush, and the Wall hit by the shockwave explode to deal physical damage to nearby enemies equal to 100/170/240 (+170% bAD) + 10% of their max health and stun them for up to 1s (distant enemies are stunned less)."

Teamfight Tactics
While not yet enabled, assets for the new game mode, Teamfight Tactics, are now on the PBE! Check out the release announcement here!"Assemble a squad of champions that battle on your behalf. Outlast all seven of your opponents and become the last person standing."
Tutorials:
- Choose a champion from the store and recruit them with gold. Then, drag them from the bench to the battlefield to deploy them. Combine three of the same champion to create a stronger, two-star version of that champion.
- Champions have traits and earn bonuses when deployed with other champs that share those traits. Positioning matters! Experiment with different layouts to find the best results.
- Each round, your team teleports to an enemy's arena (or vice-versa). Champions fight automatically, and if your team is defeated, your Little Legend takes damage. When your Little Legend's health reaches 0, you're out of the game.

Balance Changes
* NOTE*: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, & experimental changes. Be aware that what you see below may be relative to other changes earlier this cycle! These are not official notes.
Champions
- Prophet of an Elder God (Passive)
- [New] now has a 60% AP ratio
- Harsh Lesson (W)
- [New] Now notes that it does 20/30/40/50/60 minimum damage
- [Removed] "bonus damage against monsters capped at 300 per hit"
- Test of Spirit (E) spirit pull duration lowered from 10 to 8
Malphite
[Changelist / Context - back for more testing this cycle!]
- Granite Shield (P)
- "Malphite now glows when his Shield regenerates. This should make it more clear when Malphite has access to his Shield as a combat resource"
- "Malphite’s size now scales with his Armor! Become a literal mountain like you always dreamed of"
- "Size scaling has been refactored to account for the massive Armor values Malphite can get through his W. His growth spurt now caps out at ~700 Armor"
- Seismic Shard (Q)
- Movement speed steal changed from 14/17/20/23/26% to 20/25/30/35/40%"
- Speed duration reduced from 4 seconds to 3 seconds
- "Malphite no longer summons his earthen saw blade from behind himself, and instead casts it from his right arm. This also increases how fast the missile reaches its target"
- "Targets affected by Q are covered in a molten rock effect for the duration of the slow"
- "Other miscellaneous values adjusted. Too many to mention in detail here, but overall this Ability should have more weight to it and ‘feel’ like a rock monster hurling a chunk of Summoner’s Rift at his opponents"
- "Q now checks if "stealing" move speed would result in a faster Malphite, and uses that value in the rare cases when it does"
- "spawns closer to its target on cast"
- Thunderclap (W)
- Renamed from Brutal Strikes
- Initial hit AP ratio lowered from 40% to 20%
- Initial hit armor ratio lowered from 20% to 15%
- "On cast, Malphite resets his auto attack and deals 30/45/60/75/90 bonus Physical damage, scaling with 1.5 armor and 0.20 AP"
- "In addition, Malphite’s auto attacks create ‘aftershocks’ for the next 6 seconds. These are frontal cleaves (think Titanic Hydra) that deal 10/20/30/40/50 physical damage to all enemies in range of the cone, scaling with 0.1 armor and 0.2 AP"
- R - Unstoppable Force
- "Malphite’s Base Skin now features an impact crater. IT CAN’T BE STOPPED!"
- VFX Updates:
Pyke
[Changelist - **some in game values differ from changelist **]
- Gift of the Drowned Ones (Passive)
- [Moved to W] "If Pyke cannot be seen by enemies, he will rapidly generate 30-81% of damage he has recently taken from champions, up to 80 (+800% bonus AD)"
- Bone Skewer (Q)
- damage increased from 75/125/175/225/275 to 80/140/200/160/320
- damage from tapping Q and holding Q now the same value
- Ghostwater Dive (W)
- [Moved from Passive] "If Pyke cannot be seen by enemies, he will rapidly generate 35/40/45/50/55% of damage he has recently taken from champions, up to 80 (+800% bonus AD)"
- Movement speed changed from [40% (decaying to 0% over 5 seconds)] to [40/45/50/55/60% (decaying to 0% over 5 seconds)]
Udyr
[Changelist - **some in game values differ from changelist **]
- Skill Points
- All spells can gain a 6th rank, starting at level 16
- Tiger Stance (Q)
- Base damage changed from 30/60/90/120/150 to 30/60/90/120/150/180
- AD changed from 120/135/150/165/180% to 115/130/145/160/175/190%
- Turtle Stance (W) shield strength changed from 60/95/130/165/200 to 60/95/130/165/200/235
- Bear Stance (E)
- bonus movespeed changed from 15/20/25/30/35% to 15/20/25/30/35/40%
- Bonus movespeed duration changed from 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3s to 2/2.25/2.5/2.75/3/3.25s
- Phoenix Stance (R)
- cone damage changed from 40/80/120/160/200 to 50/95/140/185/230/275
- damage per tic changed from 10/20/30/40/50 to 10/20/30/40/50/60%
Wukong
[Context 1 / Context 2 - Back for more testing this cycle!]
- Strength of Stone (Passive)
- [New] Crushing Blows
- Whenever Wukong or one of his clones damages an enemy champion, they apply a stack of Crushing Blows to that target. Targets take 4% increased damage from Wukong and his clones for each stack of Crushing blows (max 5).
- VFX start small at one stack and get larger with each additional stack applied.
- [Redesigned] Stone Skin
- When 3+ enemy champions are visible within 1400 units, Wukong gains Armor and MR equal to 20 + 2 per level + 0.2*his bonus Armor/MR respectively. Bonuses last for 6s and renews if enemies remain near. Currently uses the Gargoyle's Stoneplate activation VFX when up.
- "Damage amp no longer affects structures (was unintended that it ever did and Wukong’s pushing power's going up with new W a lot already)."
- "Damage amp no longer increases true damage (never intended to, damage amps and damage reduction don't affect true damage)."
- Wuju Strike (Q)
- Renamed from Crushing Blow
- Mana cost lowered from 70/75/80/85/90 to 25/30/35/40/45
- [New] Now has a passive where Wukong gets 125 range on his next AA after he casts any spell (not just Q).
- Damage changed from [10-130 (+0.4 AD) bonus physical damage] to [20/35/50/65/80 (+20% AD) bonus magic damage]
- Now heals for 20/30/40/50/60 (+0.25 AD) health (halved on minions)
- [Removed] Armor shred
- Warrior Trickster (W)
- Clone created now attacks nearby enemies dealing 50% of Wukong's damage instead of exploding for magic damage at the end of its life.
- Clone lifespan increased to 2.5/3/3.5/4/4.5 (invisibility duration for Wukong himself unchanged).
- Wukong creating a clone and Wukong pushing 'S' to stop moving will now look identical to enemy players (can bait them into believing you've cast W when all you've done is stopped moving).
- Wukong's dash range when casting W increased from 100u to 200u
- CD reduced 18/16/14/12/10s to 16/14/12/10/8s
- CD now starts on clone death, not on clone creation (clone uptime, especially with CDR, becomes too high otherwise, CD reduced so that non-CDR builds aren’t too punished).
- "Now casts in the direction of the cursor, rather than going off Wukong’s facing"
- "Now goes through thin walls. Not sure this is the right call yet, wall crossing does mean he’s put one of his most potent tools on CD though and it’s thin walls only right now. Also allows for some nice mind games running at a wall and then hitting ‘S’ potentially".
- "Clone now gets the E Attack Speed buff if Wukong has it when he casts W"
- "Clone now gets the Q on next hit buff if Wukong has it when he casts W"
- Nimbus Strike (E)
- Other images of Wukong are now interactable clones that look just like Wukong and can be interacted with like any other unit. That means enemies won't be certain which exact target Wukong himself is going to until he gets there. Clones can also block skillshots.
- AD ratio lowered from 0.8 to 0.5
- Now checks for secondary targets in a much larger area around the primary target.
- Cyclone (R)
- Other spells are no longer locked out while you're using R. If you cast another spell, it will immediately cancel the ult in progress. Makes it easier to chain spells together basically if you want to end the ult early.
- "R CD now starts immediately so Presence of Mind works with it. Can still be cancelled by reactivating the R though. This is a change we’ll put into 9.11, since it’s a bug fix and low power impact, so doesn’t need to be balanced around."
Context & Notes
1) Riot Repertoir provided a tentative changelist for Pyke testing this cycle:2) Here's Riot Jatt with a changelist for Udyr testing this cycle:
"Even though patch 9.12 will go live tomorrow, we are well underway on patch 9.13 work. I have an Udyr change in testing for 9.13 to help close the gap between Phoenix and Tiger stance, as well as give Udyr good skill points to spend at lvls 16, 17, and 18. #lifeofapatch"
3) Here's HollanderCooper with details on saved login credentials that will be testing on the PBE soon - "Saved Login Credentials Coming Soon"
"Starting soon on the PBE and then rolling out worldwide, League will be updated to include saved login credentials. This comes with a redesigned login flow that allows you to skip the login screen most of the time if you store your username and password. The update also has some under-the-hood changes to prepare for additional optimizations to the client in the upcoming years: two-factor authentication, background patching, and yes, one day, support for our next game.
What do I have to do to get the update?
Nothing! When it’s available in your region, it’ll download and install automatically. On the login screen you’ll have the option to click “Stay Signed In,” which will keep you logged in – no need to type your name or password every time you log in on the same computer.
Will the login screen look any different?
Because you'll skip the login screen once you've stored your credentials and get into game quicker, we're going to have them include static images without background music. Most of the time, double clicking the League of Legends shortcut will send you straight to game, so we didn’t want to have flashy or resource-intensive things you’ll barely ever see. This change also frees up the art and music teams to put more time into other exciting projects.
When will saved login credentials be available?
We’re going to roll it out slowly, starting with a small number of players on PBE before we move it to live. We don’t have exact dates yet, but we will be sure to let you know.
When is the other stuff coming?
Two-factor authentication and background patching are both scheduled to release later this year. We’ll keep you updated on both of those when we have more information."
