TFT: Mobile Now Available!

Downloads for Teamfight Tactics Mobile are now available! You can head over to the Google Play store or the Apple Store to download onto your device! Check out some screenshots from the app:

Here's a launch trailer:

Curious on the details? Check out this article:
"Teamfight Tactics is coming to Android and IOS devices around the world, and we wanted to give you a heads-up on what to expect.
Inventory and Riot Account
If you want to play on both PC and Mobile you'll need to sign in using your Riot Account. Any purchases made on PC will transfer over. Regardless of where you purchase content, you can access it across PC and mobile as long as you use the same Riot account. This is also true of pass progression and rank.
Galaxies Pass and the Store
Your TFT inventory is shared across PC and mobile. However, while you will be able to purchase the Galaxy Pass+, we will not be launching with a full-fledged store on mobile. The pass will roll out region by region over the first few days that we're live. If you log in and can't find it yet, don't be alarmed—it will be available soon. We know this wasn’t ideal, but we wanted to get the mobile gameplay in your hands as soon as possible, even if that means most of the store features come later.
At launch we'll also be putting the final touches on the free Galaxies Pass. While you might not immediately see it, your progress is being recorded and XP will be granted retroactively.
RP vs Currency
When you hop onto TFT on your phone, you may notice that we don’t use RP. The local currency cost will be as close as possible to the RP equivalent that you're used to seeing.
So, in practic (and using the US as an example), a Little Legend Egg on PC costs 490 RP, which converts to $3.99 on mobile storefronts when rounded to the nearest available pricing tier. This price is then converted to our international pricings. The Galaxy Pass+ costs 1295 RP and $9.99 (NA) on mobile.
Device Requirements
We’ve changed our minimum specs since we started testing the app in February. On IOS, the app supports iPhone 6S or newer. On Android, it requires devices with 2GB+ of RAM, Android version 7 or newer, Open GL Version 3+, and a 64-bit OS."
Finally, the TFT Twitch Prime Loot is now available! Subscribers can snag a free Little Legends Egg, and more in the future, to head into TFT mobile looking cute!

Universe Update

The Universe was updated with new content, including Zed Issue 5, a new story, and biography updates!
"Zed has been captured and is at the mercy of his most bitter enemy--and once most trusted friend--Shen! Meanwhile Akali sets out on her own in search of the deadly Jhin--a journey that may lead her to her own doom! But what is Jhin’s endgame?"
"The river brings memories from a dead world. I wonder if I’m the only one able to find them.
Across the water, I see the vines my father tends, curling protectively around Ixtal and its people, the last of Runeterra. Leaves and branches hang in ragged loops all up and downstream, disappearing into gloom past dawn’s limited reach. Each visit, I wonder if the dark hides serpent or jaguar, or some other danger. My mother hunts those beasts, providing meat and protecting our village of Semchul. My parents expected I would follow in their footsteps. That I would grow into Aliay the gardener, or Aliay the hunter.
I chose neither, but their lessons combined to shape my path."
Long, long ago, in a tower by the edge of the sea, a foolish young mage summoned something into the world that he was not prepared to control.
What stepped before the boy was something older than recorded history.
Something darker than a yawning, starless night. Something the world had desperately tried to forget—and in an instant, the mage, the creature, and the tower itself were lost to all of time.
At least, that’s what the stories say.
In the Freljord, children frighten each other around the fire with tales of a monster that raises itself from untended graves in the ice, its body a shambling mass of helmets, bucklers, furs, and wood. In Bilgewater, drunken sailors trade accounts of something standing alone on a tiny, distant atoll from which no one has ever returned. An old Targonian legend speaks of how a child of twilight stole the only joy from a ragged, whispering horror, while veteran Noxian soldiers prefer the fable of a lonely farmhand who was blamed for a poor harvest and fed to the crows, later returning to the world as a demon.
Demacia. Ixtal. Piltover. Ionia. Shurima. In every corner of Runeterra, these myths persist—reshaped, respun, and passed down by countless generations of storytellers. Stories of a thing that looks almost human and stalks places thick with fear.
But these are simply fables to frighten young children. No one would ever be afraid of a silly old monster called Fiddlesticks…
Until now.
Something has awoken in the Demacian hinterlands, drawn by the climate of rising fear and paranoia. Rural protectorates, separated from the capital by hundreds of miles of farmland, are emptying in mere days. Travelers vanish from the old footpaths. Guard patrols fail to report back from the edges of the kingdom. And wild-eyed survivors claw at their faces from the safety of roadside taverns, wailing of crows that aren’t crows, sounds that aren’t sounds, and a lopsided horror in the shape of a scarecrow that croaks in the stolen voices of the dead.
Most blame rogue mages. Such accusations are common in these days of rebellion.
Yet the truth is far worse. Something has returned, just as it had in the fictitious tale of the young mage in his seaside tower. An evil gone from the world for numberless centuries—long enough that the warnings of a nascent humanity passed into rumor, then myth, then legend… until all that remained were simple fables. An entity so utterly alien that it defies almost all contemporary knowledge of magic. So impossibly ancient that it has always been. So universally feared that even animals grow nervous when someone speaks its name.
In the wake of this revival, another tale, nearly lost to memory, has seen a resurgence throughout the hinterlands. A legend of a great evil that has no form, no thoughts, and no understanding of the world it inhabits, instead building itself into the crude shape of those that fear it. The terror of all living things, given life in that first terrible scream of creation. A demon before demons were known.
At least, that’s what the stories say.
But Fiddlesticks is real."
A riotous domain of constant transformation, Bandle City was no place for a yordle like Kennen. Searching for harmony and balance, he ventured out from the spirit realm millennia ago. He explored the material realm with boundless curiosity, traveling great distances in a heartbeat. But he was drawn in particular to Ionia.
In the First Lands, he witnessed ancient wars that none now remember, and a land struggling to rebuild afterward. Kennen grew fascinated by a people seeking balance for themselves and their home. Over time, he returned to Bandle City less and less, choosing to remain in Ionia, where yordles were respected as creatures of the spirit realm. Though he did not age as beings of the material realm did, Kennen embraced mortals, studying them for generations. He admired how, despite their fragile lives, they were diligent protectors of the sacred balance.
Even so, there were threats to the tranquility of Ionia. Malevolent entities of the spirit realm traversed the land with ill intent. Kennen battled these disturbances alone for years, enjoying the fun each challenge brought, but in the end he understood he was doing little to address why the incursions were happening: imbalance. He discovered a fledgling order whose members actively pursued balance between the realms—who, after careful observation, would judge what needed to be done to restore it.
They called themselves the Kinkou.
Kennen was intrigued by the order, led by a distant Eye of Twilight and a vindictive Fist of Shadow. He realized that the Kinkou’s leadership required another aspect. A consensus builder, one who would prevent the warlike Fist from domineering over the introspective Eye, and likewise keep the Eye’s tireless observation from paralyzing the Fist.
As a creature of both the spirit and material realms, Kennen proposed that he was uniquely suited to be an arbiter. The order accepted Kennen’s wisdom, and he became the Kinkou’s first Heart of the Tempest. As part of the new triumvirate with the Eye of Twilight and the Fist of Shadow, Kennen passed judgment on how best to preserve balance, and his affability and diplomacy kept the Kinkou in harmony.
Moreover, Kennen noticed that a rift had grown between the order and the people around them, as judgments were carried out swiftly, mysteriously, and without chance for appeal. Again, the yordle realized he could fill a need for the Kinkou. With his fantastic speed and compassion, he was the ideal representative to communicate the judgments of the order to those affected by them. He’d seen how the Kinkou distanced themselves from the people, wearing masks over their faces, and took care to remove his to connect with those he sought to protect.
Yet there was another side to Kennen, a far more serious aspect as Heart of the Tempest. Charged with Coursing the Sun, he addressed challenges to the Kinkou’s judgments, and not always with words.
For sometimes, the cost of balance was the blood of the offender—and Kennen’s shuriken and summoned maelstroms were quite capable of silencing all dissent.
There have been many threats to the Kinkou over the centuries, but none as grave as the Noxian invasion and its aftermath. When Noxus invaded the First Lands, Kennen opposed joining the resistance, even as the war threatened to tear the Kinkou apart. In their darkest hour, after a coup led by a former acolyte named Zed, the yordle guided the order while the new Eye of Twilight, Shen, struggled to lead. Kennen urged the Fist of Shadow, Mayym, to look to her daughter Akali, whom he’d trained since childhood, and see her as a successor.
But even he couldn’t find the words to stop Akali from eventually leaving the Kinkou, frustrated at the order’s failure to act against Ionia’s enemies.
Recent events have tested Kennen, a new age of disruption and violence that has thrown Ionia into chaos. Come what may, he will protect the fractured Kinkou Order, fighting alongside Shen to defend the balance of the First Lands. Do not let Kennen’s diminutive appearance fool you—for the heart of the tempest is its calmest part, but when it turns its eye upon you, its force is never more than a moment behind."

Miscellaneous

"yes, the current plan is to release the next roadmap sometime, not to long, after Volibear"
  • Riot August noted Wukong bugfixes that went out earlier today:
"The Wukong update had 3 bugs that we hotfixed a few hours ago:
1) Q wasn't dealing bonus damage to towers
2) W clone attacks did less damage than intended to champions and towers
3)Passive Armor and Regen was lower than intended at 0 stacks."
  • Riot Xenogenic commented on the timing of the Galaxies event:
"Yes, the plan is to activate the event on 3/26 at 1 PM PST (9 PM CET).
We plan these events over months, and during that time, realized that we should not ship both an event and TFT mobile at the same time. There is a lot of risk there, even moreso now with this situation
I understand that it would be great if we could just flip a switch and the event is live, but it's a lot more complicated than that :)
I'm with you on wanting more to do from home right now, though, but on our end, we want to make sure those both launch smoothly."
He also noted TFT mobile would earn tokens for the event:
"Yes, playing TFT on mobile will earn tokens for the Galaxies event pass on League as well"
  • Glmarsi noted One for All would start with the Galaxies event as well:
"One for All is coming soon! It'll go live with the start of the Galaxies event next week, 3/26. Can't wait to see you all there!"
  • Teamfight Tactics: Galaxies is now live! The Galaxies+ Pass, Dark Star arenas, and new Little Legends are now available in the store!
  • There is also a rotating Little Legend egg store available! Here's what's up for grabs now:
