4/20 PBE Update: Tentative TFT Balance Changes

The PBE has been updated! As we continued the 10.9 PBE cycle, today's patch includes tentative TFT balance changes!

Balance Changes

TFT Changes
!
Vanguard
  • 2 champ bonus armor lowered from 150 to 125

Brawler
  • 4 champ bonus health increased from 600 to 650

Chrono
  • 4 champ attack speed cooldown lowered from 5s to 4s
  • 6 champ attack speed cooldown lowered from 3s to 2.5s

Infiltrator
  • 4 champ bonus attack speed increased from 70% to 75%
  • 6 champ bonus attack speed lowered from 100% to 120%

Valkyrie
  • Crit threshold lowered from 50% to 40%

Rebel
  • 6 Champ shield lowered from 225 to 200
  • 9 Champ shield lowered from 350 to 325

Cybernetic
  • 3 champ bonus changed from [300 health & 30 AD] to [350 health & 35 AD]
  • 6 champ bonus lowered from  [650 health & 65 AD] to [700 health & 70 AD]

Sorcerer
  • 8 champ bonus increased from 100 spell power to 105 spell power

Blademaster
  • 6 champ trigger chance lowered from 60% to 55%

Thresh
  • Ability bonus mana reverted from 50/75/200 to 25/50/200

Shaco 
  • Ability damage lowered from 300/325/350% to 200/225/250%

Context & Notes

1) Riot Scruffy provided a preview of balance for the 10.9 PBE cycle:
"Patch Preview for 10.9:  
Trying something new here by showing where specifically we see the champs over-performing that we intend to nerf. Let me know if you like this and if we should keep doing it.  
Not showing details like this for buffs bc they are under-performing generally"

2) Riot Kami Banani noted the 4/21 PBE maintenance would be later than usual, after a planned NA/OCE/PBE downtime:
" **TOMORROW, 21 APRIL** 
Our 10.9 patch PBE update will take place AFTER the below maintenance. Sorry in advance for the extended downtime, friends!"
 Here's the Riot Support tweet on the planned downtime:
"[Update!] [LoL, TFT, TFT - NA/OCE/PBE] League, TFT, & TFT mobile will be offline for maintenance ONE HOUR EARLIER, 7:00-12:00 PT April 21 (NA) / 24:00-5:00 AEST April 22 (OCE)"
