7/23 PBE Update: Skin Tweaks & Tentative Balance Changes

The PBE has been updated! As we continue the 10.16 PBE cycle, today's patch includes skin tweaks & tentative balance changes!

Skin Tweaks

As the next set of Spirit Blossom skins continue testing on the PBE, Fairy Flan noted changes to Cassiopeia VFX now in testing on the PBE:
[1] "#SpiritBlossomCassiopeia Saw the VFX feedback, made some edits to her E with guidance from the Cass main himself, @RiotKingCobra! E has brightness and color changes, with some subtle trail additions. 
Changes should be available to see on PBE tomorrow."
[2] #SpiritBlossomCassiopeia Also made some small edits to her R with @RiotKingCobra's help! This one is mainly brightness, glow/cloud additions and subtle color shifts to address the feedback for a more impactful feeling. 
Changes should be in tomorrow's PBE build!

Balance Changes

  • Hate Spike (Q)
    • Cooldown lowered from 8 to 5
    • [Removed] No longer reduces cooldown on monster hit
    • Bonus damage increased from 10/20/30/40/50 to 15/25/35/45/55
    • Dart damage increased from 30/35/40/45/50 to 35/40/45/50/55
    • Spike damage increased from 30/35/40/45/50 to 35/40/45/50/55

Context & Notes

1) The Spirit Blossom Kindred feedback thread was updated with a note on toggles:
"Update about toggle: Just wanted to let you all know that we know the idea of the toggle would be cool, but it's not going to happen for this skin. Lamb with a mask is an important in-game read for Kindred so we are going to be keeping the mask on in game. Showing Lamb's face in the recall and accessories is a cool way to incorporate this part of their Spirit Blossom character."
