7/27 PBE Update: New Emote, "Samira" Easter Egg Files, & More!

The PBE has been updated! As we continue the 10.16 PBE cycle, today's patch includes a new emote and easter egg files referencing "Samira", as well as more tentative balance changes!

New Emote

A new emote is now on the PBE! No details on what it is for:

Miscellaneous 

  • Interestingly enough, other files matching the 'Style: Rank S' emote were also found as easter egg files! These mention the name "Samira".
  • Spirit Blossom Yone skin bio added:
    • "Long ago, two brothers fought a bitter war across Ionia. Yone, the older brother, was a warlord renowned for his adherence to honor and duty. He fought to defend the country against those who would break its rites and rituals - until he was forced to confront his own brother for his crimes. Both were fated to fall in their final duel... a lesson, perhaps, in pride and hubris."
  • New loot assets:
    • Akana Grab Bag
      • "Open to reveal three Legacy skin shards and three skin shards of 975 or greater value, excluding Mythic and Limited skins. Gemstone and Mythic Skin Permanent drop rates multiplied by 1.5."
    • Akana Orb
      • "Open to reveal a guaranteed random Skin Shard with a chance to contain bonuses like an Akana Grab Bag, a Gemstone, or a Mythic Skin permanent. Gemstone and Mythic Skin Permanent drop rates multiplied by 1.5."
  • One of Spirit Blossom Riven's chroma was tweaked, changing the color of her sword:

  • Shuriken Flip (E) damage type changed from physical to magic.

Evelynn

  • Hate Spike (Q)
    • Cooldown lowered from 5 to 4
    • Bonus damage reverted from 15/25/35/45/55 to 10/20/30/40/50
    • Dart damage reverted from 35/40/45/50/55 to 30/35/40/45/50 
    • Spike damage reverted from 35/40/45/50/55 to 30/35/40/45/50

1) Riot Scruffy provided a peek at 10.16 balance changes:
"10.16 Patch Preview: 
(Summer Playoffs Patch) This is a very big list, but most of these changes are going to be small ones. Diversifying the playoffs meta as much as we can before fine tuning it for worlds."
