Arcane event, a monthlong celebration of all things Arcane! On the LoL side,
you can look forward to Arcane skins for Jinx and Caitlyn, as well as
Caitlyn's ASU, rewards, map accents, and much more!

EVENTS
So let’s start at the beginning. RiotX Arcane is broken into three parts that follow along with the themes of the show:
League World Finals and Arcane Premiere Super Weekend
November 6
Joining forces with Worlds, League’s biggest moment of the year, we're making it a double feature on November 6. It all starts with Worlds Finals, where there will be an Arcane-themed Show Open presented by Mastercard, featuring music straight from Arcane. We’ll continue into the Global Premiere, hosted live on Twitch, and co-streamed by your favorite streamers, with watch rewards across all of our games.
Worlds Show Open begins on November 6th at 5:00 AM PT and features musical performances from Imagine Dragons, Bea Miller, JID, and Denzel Curry.
Arcane’s Global Premiere kicks off on Twitch on November 6th at 5:30 PM PT.
Progress Days
November 7 - November 13
We continue on with Progress Days, a Piltovan celebration of progress and innovation across our entire ecosystem. Following what we hope is a bombastic premiere, we invite you to jump into all of our games where even more content will be going live to tide you over until Act 2 launches on November 13th.
Undercity Nights
November 14 - November 20
We head into our finale weekend with a deep-dive into Zaun and a celebration of our community at our Undercity Nights event, held both in-person and online. We’re really excited to end this event with a bang worthy of the Undercity, so stay tuned for more information.
GAMES
Looking for some game content? Here’s a sneak peek into how each of our games are celebrating RiotX Arcane, but for the full list of details, stay tuned to each of our games as the RiotX Arcane event progresses.
League of Legends will be diving deeper into the world of Arcane, releasing free Arcane skins inspired by the show, a variety of thematic updates to Summoner's Rift, and Preseason 2022 updates. Two new interactive experiences will also be revealed in the coming week!

Champion Updates
"In order to streamline Caitlyn's future development when it comes to her visuals, skins, and overall cohesion, we've given the Sheriff of Piltover an Art and Sustainability Update (ASU)! But, what does that mean? Keep an eye out for:
- Updates to Caitlyn's in-game models for her base, as well as eight of her skins
- Adjustments to two of her skins outside of those that were updated
- Updates to some of Caitlyn’s base, Pool Party, and Lunar Wraith chromas
- Adjustments to the majority of Caitlyn's splash art, with a few that were recreated entirely
We've also made small VFX updates to the in-game models for Jinx and Jayce. On top of his VFX, Jayce has also received minor SFX updates as well.
You can expect these changes to hit live servers on November 17, 2021.

Skins & Rewards
"Excited and ready to celebrate the release of Arcane? So are we!
In fact, we're so excited that we ended up creating a set of free skins, inspired by Arcane, for all players! You can earn all of these skins via missions in-game starting on November 8, 2021. Once you've completed the related missions, you’ll receive the Skin Permanent and its corresponding Champion Permanent in your Loot tab.
These skins won't feature new VFX or voice lines, but will channel the style of each champion within the world of Arcane. Don't worry if you don't get to all of them. These skins will be available for 975 RP after December 9, 2021."

Celebrate Arcane on the Rift
Starting November 6, 2021, keep the Arcane party going on the Rift with a variety of thematic updates and features including:
- Map accents on all maps*
- In-game music from Arcane
- Loading screen quotes and trivia
*Map accents include everything from turrets to minions, so keep your eyes open for any Easter eggs on the Rift. Just be sure to check everything out before they leave on December 9, 2021!
Additionally, Ultimate Spellbook will return from November 18, 2021 to January 10, 2022.

While we can’t exactly hand out cars to all our players like primetime game show hosts, we can do the next best thing. For the low-low cost of one game won (or just three games played!), you can earn the Arcane Jayce, Vi, Caitlyn, and Jinx Skins starting November 8, 2021 at 8:00 AM PT. The Arcane Missions below will unlock every week until the event ends on December 9, 2021 at 12:59 PM PT.
* Once completed, you’ll find these Mission rewards in your Loot Inventory—simply select them and “Unlock!”
Arcane Skins
Play a few games to win each champion and skin for free as Into the Arcane Mission rewards! (See Arcane Missions above.) Don't have the time? Don't worry! Arcane skins will be available for purchase for 975 RP after missions expire at the end of the event.
Celebrate Arcane and step into the shoes of its main characters—literally!—when you pick up these Arcane Champion Skins. (Protip: Switch them on and play some games while you rewatch Arcane in the background to feel like a true Runeterran.)

We all know just how much players have wanted Ultimate Spellbook to come back after its massive debut success a few months ago. Believe us, we wanted it back too! But as incredible as its first run was, it also had its challenges and lessons. But the busy devs back in our workshop have been polishing and tinkering away ever since.
