9/28 PBE Update: Tentative Balance Changes

The PBE has been updated! As we continue the 12.19 PBE cycle, today's patch includes tentative balance changes!

Balance Changes

NOTE*: The PBE is a testing grounds for new, tentative, & potentially experimental changes. Be aware that what you see below may be relative to other changes from earlier this cycle! These are not official notes and may be incomplete.

Champions
Ekko
  • Z Drive Resonance (Passive) 
    • AP ratio increased from 80 to 90
  • Chronobreak (R)
    • damage increased from 150/300/450 + 150% AP to 150/325/500 + 175% AP

Jinx
  • Base AD increased from 57 to 59
  • Super Mega Death Rocket (R)
    •  base damage to primary target 250/400/550 to 300/450/600

Ryze
  • Overload (Q)
    • Increased from 50% to 55%
  • Rune Prism (W)
    • AP increased from 60% to 70%

Sona
  • Hymn of Valor (Q)
    • base damage increased from 40/70/100/130/160 to 50/80/110/140/170
  • Song of Celerity (E)
    • slow increased from 40% to 50%

Udyr
  • Wilding Claw (Q)
    • [new] recast minimum damage to minions now 80-160
  • Iron Mantle (W)
    • on-hit heal vs minions increased from 50% to 60%
  • Wingborne Storm (R)
    • damage to minions 40/55/70/85% to 50/60/70/80%

Items

Eclipse
  • Lethality lowered from 18 to 12
  • AD increased from 55 to 60

"UPDATE: 
First of all, on behalf of the team, we really wanted to say thank you for all the love we are seeing for Spirit Blossom Sett. The fan art, feedback, and comments we are seeing has really brought a smile to us. 
We have collected your feedback and after discussing it with the team, we were able to make the below changes: 
VFX
  • New max R AOE with new shockwave effect & added the W max grit aura while in the air.
  • Added a lot more details to max W, and the W max badger is visible for a little bit longer.
  • Added lake ground effect, moon reflection and petals in the Dance/Training emote.
  • Added petals in his death animation, as well as added trails and a burst in his respawn.
  • More petal you say?! As they have been added in his Homeguard as well.
SFX
  • Beefed up Auto-Attack 2nd On-Hit and Q 2nd On-Hit.
  • Changed up the initiating moment for Q Base-Activate.
  • Also improved the dance spam!
Animation 
  • We've heard some players call out a desire for the W animation to further exaggerate the motion on Sett's hair and clothing when Sett is at max grit. While in production on this skin, the team discussed this in depth and explored a few ways to make the Full Grit moment feel legendary. The team ultimately made the decision to prioritize differentiating our Max Grit moment for the legendary skin with a form swap on the model and texture side, rather than leaning into animation, which in turn enabled us to focus our animation energy on making the badgers and spirit arms more impactful. While we greatly appreciate your feedback here, given the technical complexities associated with attempting to add in this animation at this point with production moving on to the next projects this is something we're currently not able to address. Doing so would cause us to pull resources and effort away from upcoming legendary skins in production that the team is focused on right now.
  • Lastly, we saw a few comments on the R animation for the spirit arms feeling a bit off in terms of actually grabbing the enemy. Given champion scale varies from character to character we will not be able to resolve this in a way that feels as precise as desired across the entire roster. We'd love for it to be precise as possible but with current technical limitations and with how Sett has to interact with all the champions on the roster we have to be okay with this for now.

Update 2 (28.09)- Hair model was adjusted to make it feel less stiff during movement.

- Minor adjustment to face makeup was made to remove feeling of eyes being wider than on other skins (note: physical dimensions on model were not changes as they were the same as on all previous skins)

After evaluating the feedback, we've made the following updates to Spirit Blossom Evelynn per your feedback:

Animation
  • Fixed some facial animation issues.
VFX/Rigging
  • Fixed VFX trail from eyes overlapping with her head while in shadow form.
  • Adjusted Q to fix some issues with terrain height at certain angles.
  • Slightly increased Q flower indicator brightness.
  • Adjusted R to show the shadow form while casting.
SFX
  • Adjusted empowered E SFX to more impactful.
  • Adjusted Passive transition SFX to be more Spirit Blossom-y.
We have received a lot of great feedback and appreciate your trying to write feedback in a way that's most helpful for us. Some suggestions either conflicted with other player feedback or with internal craft expertise, others (icon changes, additional changes to her model, etc.) are out of scope for a PBE change. Update 2 (28.09)

- SFX when Yorick damages other Champion targeted by the Maiden has been polished and should be more impactful now.

- Face was adjusted to make him more grim/serious
- Screen flash when Darius acquires 5 stacks of Hemorrhage (P) was recolored to purple
(bonus update: we added the same effect to Crime City Nightmare Darius!)
